Go OUTSIDE. Touch grass.

It means to get in touch with the real world around you. Maybe you don't even spend that much time on the computer or your phone. Maybe you just don't have a lot of "going outside" unless it's to visit a mall, a grocery store, whatever.

This swap has a minimum requirement of 10x type 3 swaps and no 1s or non-sends in the past 6 months. Please check the TYPE of swaps you've completed and been rated for. If you signed up and didn't follow this, I don't think you will do anything else in the swap, either.

How to do this:

• Go outside.
• Pick a plant that is not part of "landscaping," ie nothing you can pick up in a garden centre. No bromeliads, petunias, lantanas, ecchevaria, etc.
• Take a photo (on your phone is fine) and ID it. You can use google images or iNaturalist to help.
• Make a sketch of this plant, 2" x 3" or 4" x 6" size- something that fits in a notecard.
• Identify the plant in the notecard, including the scientific name. You don't have to get it down to exact variety. <3
• Write a few facts about this plant, like if it's invasive or not, range is on the East Coast but you are in midwest USA, birds love the berries, maybe the leaves are poisonous, etc.

Your sketch doesn't have to be amazing. It doesn't have to be highly detailed or a realistic drawing. You don't need an art degree for this. Do your best!
