Once partners are assigned, look at your partner's ZIP code. Use those five digits to determine how many items to send to your partner. Include a note detailing why you picked the items you did. Make it pleasant, please, and have fun with it! EXAMPLE I'm matched with John Smith and he lives in 21945. I'm going to send him 2 bookmarks, 1 book (because his profile says he loves to read!), 9 stickers, 4 postcards and 5 Forever stamps. IMPORTANT 0s in a ZIP code count as 10. If your partner's ZIP code has multiple 1s or 2s, please be mindful of what you send to ensure the overall gift is one you'd be happy to receive. If your partner lists a ZIP+4, you only need to send for the base 5 digits. Since stamps are something we all go through, one of the items you send must be unused Forever stamps. For the other four items, it's your choice, but they must be five entirely different types of items (i.e. don't send stickers for two different ZIP code digits). Look at your partner's profile interests for inspiration on what to send. Because it is sender's choice, please be mindful of SwapBot's rating rules: You should give a 5-star rating if your partner sent the correct number of items on time, even if you don't love every single thing you received. If your partner put forth the effort, reward them with a 5, as you always should. It's a numbers game. Have fun!! | |
