Hey, everyone!

My name is Jason and I’m fairly new here, having just joined SwapBot in July 2026. And in August 2026, I was banned from my first swap because she said my profile wasn’t sufficiently filled out. (Yikes!) So here we go:

I work in the media and am in middle management. I’ve been with a few different companies, but am extremely laid back and comfortable, so if I like my job, I’m probably staying around for a while. I work remotely, which I love as it gives me a chance to enjoy my daily commute of walking down from the second level of my home to the first level. Or, if I’m feeling extra social, I can head out to a coffee shop (which I do a lot!) with my laptop in tow.

For fun, I've been doing "happy mail" for a while and one of my friends from that community suggested I check out this site. It's been great so far and I've enjoyed completing several swaps so far. Am even hosting my first swap right now and it’s fun to see the number of participants rise!

Not a big book guy. Something's gotta be R E A L L Y good to hold my attention for more than an hour. (You would hate watching movies with me due to the number of times I pause them. haha) Magazines and short stories are more my thing.

When I do read books, they tend to be nonfiction. Love local history, biographies, etc. Also enjoy what's commonly thought of as children's books. Think Dr. Seuss, Little Golden Books, Sweet Pickles, etc. I think they just remind me of my childhood :)

If it's currently playing on the radio and is labeled "adult contemporary," I probably know most of the words, as it's all I really listen to (and they play the same songs all the time!) Not a huge music fan and generally only listen when I'm in my car, but this is my station: 96.3 WDVD

Big Brother, Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Georgie & Mandy, SVU, Sunday morning news talk shows, new game shows (1% Club, Quiz with Balls, Nation's Dumbest, Celebrity Family Feud, Celebrity Jeopardy, Press Your Luck, The Floor). I DVR everything and tend to watch in the same week.

Glitter. I like you, but I don't want to still be thinking of your sparkling mail a year from now. Shit NEVER goes away ;)

Political.

Overly religious. Faith-based is welcome, but not "you're going to hell unless you believe like I do," please.
