Hey y’all!
I’m Chelsey Jo, but most people call me Chels. 😊 Alabama is where I call home, (unfortunately)…🙄 I’ve been here my entire life, and yes, it’s home, but living in a town where you’ve never fit in starts to become a bit lonely. Therefore I work, ALOT. And when I’m not working, I’m busy being a single parent to my two little ones. (13 & 8, not so little anymore). I am an interior/sales designer for a home organizational company, and I also clean houses and organize on the side.
I have been doing swaps off and on for around 8 years or so. Life got chaotic a few years ago, so I had to stop for a while, but I am excited to get back into the swing of things. 💁🏼♀️
I am a Papyrophilia, which stands for an obsessive love of paper, but in common terms, this extends to an obsessive love of all things stationery. ✏️ 📔 🖊️ I have been this way ever since I was a little girl, and I’m not sure why. I’ve never really met anyone who even understands it. Lisa Frank and Sanrio(hello kitty) are to blame lol! I am drawn to beautiful stationery, and all things related. I tend to sometimes go overboard when I participate in swaps because of how much I send, and how I decorate the items. But hey, who’s complaining 🤷🏼♀️
A few of my obsessions/favorite things:
Strawberries - I am going through a strawberry phase at the moment...I am sure it will pass in a couple of months lol, but at the moment, I am in the process of accumulating all things strawberry related.
ATC's - I have never made an ATC. I want to learn how so badly, but I haven't ever received one to sort of have an example to go by, so if any of you ever get a wild hair and decide ti send one my way, I will be so thanful!
Washi….I absolutely ♥️ washi tape. I don’t particularly like washi that has cartoons or characters on them though. Just not my style.
Colors - I'm really into neutral colors at the moment: white, cream, beige, tan, light blues, blush pink, sage green, grey, and of course black. 🖤 neon pink is one bright color that I can never get enough of, and a dash of red here and there is perfectly fine as well.
All things related to planners, I will 💗. Stickers, quotes, pens, etc…love it all!
I am a collector of postcards, mainly ones that are from different states and show something interesting about the state itself. But I’m also a sucker for a beautiful modern or artsy postcard as well.
Bows 🎀. I love any and everything now related, but I just don’t wear them in my hair lol. I have a pink one tattooed on my wrist, and I’m quick to snatch up anything I see that is bow related.
Lisa Frank. Duh. 😜 It’s so hard to find her stationary these days. I’ve seen the new stuff, but I would love to come across some of the older characters from her stationery.
super into arts & crafts, and diy, so if you have any neat articles or tutorials to share, send them my way please. 😁
poetry. especially the modern day poetry that are in books such as HER and another one titled HIM.
letters. if I receive a letter from you, you will surely get one from me as well!
I am/was a huge fan of FLOW magazine as well as Daphne's Diary, therefore anything related to those papercraft magazines would make my day!
Fashion. Clothing is my other obsession. It’s bad y’all. I have so many clothes that sometimes I won’t wear the same outfit for a year! I know, I know. 🤦🏼♀️
I am wanting to learn how to make some of the new snail mail things such as flip books, matchbooks, etc….I love making envelopes though! I could seriously make them all day and be content. - I’m sure there is more to add, so as things comes to mind, I will jot it down on here.
Happy Swapping! 📫
