I am a Japanese mom of a 16-year-old son, working as a translator of mechanical documents mainly studying translation of books.

However, now I’m trying a huge (for me) project, which is “traveling for 3 weeks a month as my own job”!! Let’s see how it goes. Or you can check my instagram. Lol Or seriously, please ask me as a part of swap if you are reading this because you have got me as a partner :D Currently, traveling around the world is my hugest interest besides penpaling. In 2024, I traveled Vietnam for 5 weeks with my son (Hanoi, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh) In 2025, I visited Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Bali (Indonesia). In 2026, I’ve been to France, Taiwan and Vietnam so far. I visited Taiwan in June 2026 just to buy bath powder, which smells soooo good and I loved in 2025 for one-night stay. Yeah, I love freedom and just wanna do what I want. But plea do not misunderstand. I never mean I do not care others. I am a humble adult Japanese citizen. lol I always try to involve anyone my troubles seriously. Also, since I love freedom and it’s very important for me, I accept anything as a swap with joy. Really anything. If you are my swap partner, please enjoy your freedom to choose.

So, anyway, I really like buying postcards where I visit. But it doesn’t have to be tourist ones. Famous paintings, kawaii characters or really anything that I like. In Japan, fewer and fewer stores are selling postcards…, which is a very sad fact for me.

I like journaling, too. Decorating my agendas, etc. this year, I chose Hobonichi Techo.

About my personality, I’m very outgoing and always look at bright sides of things :) (as of 2026)
