My name is Heather! I am 29 and married with 3 kids, 22, 11, and 1. For those that will naturally wonder, I did not have a child at 7, she is my wife's daughter. I have 6 cats, 2 dogs and about 30 chickens! In my free time I love postcrossing, playing with my kids, and tending to my chickens and vegetable garden. About once a week I get the chance to enjoy some tea and read a book.

I always love to try new recipes. If you'd like, I would LOVE if you included a card with one of YOUR favorite recipes so that we can try it and add it to our recipe box🫶 One of our favorite things to make as a family is dessert, we make one every weekend to eat during the week.

🌻 I love all kinds of seeds for the garden. Flower, herbs and veggies. Please, no cannabis. Zone 9A

🏈 I collect Pokémon and sports cards. Nothing specific and nothing special. I just love looking through them.

🍵 I love almost all teas. I'm not a big fan of matcha or anything that is heavy with ginger. Light ginger is totally fine.

🍪 My family and I bake every week. Desserts bring us together at the end of a long day to settle down and get a nice little family moment in.

🌮 I love cooking in the kitchen and trying new things! If you would like, please add a card with a recipe to try and to add to our recipe box. We eat pretty much any meat and vegetable. No allergies. Crock pot and cast iron cooking is my go-to.

💵 I collect money from everywhere. Nothing valuable, nothing special. I just love the many different forms of currency and how it changes over time. If you include any currency, please tell me the proper name of it and what value it is (for non U.S.)

🎅🎃 Christmas and Halloween are my all time favorite holidays and time of year.

✂️ I don't craft much. I don't really have the time. I spend a lot of time postcrossing, though. I love anything that I can use to send postcards and decorate then.

🌈 I'm bisexual and married to a woman. I love all things pride!

🐔 We have about 30 chickens on our property. My dream is to have a small homestead one day.

🎶 I listen to pretty much everything. Top 100's, 80's hairbands, and 1990's country are my go-to's

🪡 I am currently sewing my very first hexagon quilt! I had been debating it for a while, then i got some fabric in a swap and it made my mind up for me! This hexie quilt will be a swap bot quilt. Im only using fabric that you guys send me. If you would like to include any fabric in a swap, I would be most appreciative! I am using 6inch circles to make 2.5 inch hexes. No need to cut it or make the hexie for me, it's just the measurement I'm using. (Feel free to if you want!)

💪I am a huge advocate for women's rights and woman power. I love any and all of it. Think Rosie the Riveter and Roe v. Wade.

I send out as soon as I possibly can. If I mark sent on a Sunday, it's because it's in the blue box❤️

I rate as soon as I receive. There has been a time or two, of course, where an email swap made its way to my spam or my wife left my happy mail in her truck. I still will always get to it as soon as possible.

If you haven't received something from me, please let me know. I have sent every swap on time with correct postage and I will strive to maintain that. I would love the opportunity to correct a mistake.

If you are going to be late sending to me, please let me know. I don't mind holding off on rating as I completely understand that life happens and deadlines get missed. Communication is key!
