Hello all!

My name is Bobbi and I live in a smallish NW Florida town and for 25 years I’ve worked in my local grocery store. I’ve worked in most of the departments over the years and for the last 4 years I’ve managed the floral department.

When I’m not working and have a few minutes or a few days to myself I like to relax with a good movie or binge on some baking show championships.

I like to cook but not every night...UGG! I really enjoy baking though and decorating sugar cookies anytime of the year is always a favorite time for me. My mother did it with me, I did it with my daughter and now I do it with my grandchildren. It’s a tradition I hope they carry on one day with their own children.

I love anything Victorian or vintage. Reproduction Postcards especially and I like vintage papers, wrapping and such. I also like to collect vintage cookie cutters. I’ve been collecting since my granddaughter was born, nine years ago. We have a good collection and there’s always room for more.

My newest collecting obsession are the Russian piping tips. I’m just learning to use them and will be ordering more for the various holidays once I’ve got it down.

My favorite hobby is Genealogy. I’m always excited when I find some new information about the family. Imagine finding a photo of your third great grandparents or a newspaper article about your great-great grandmother working on the the Canadian Pacific Railroad, it just doesn’t get any better than that! I also make a habit of hitting the antique stores when I’m out of town, looking for lost photos. I pick up the ones with a name and place written on them then fingers crossed, I get them back to a family member.

Other things I like...scrapbooking on rainy days, making fresh berry jams and chunky applesauce. I like painting rocks and always have a few with me to leave hidden... in view 😃 I like sweets, chocolate, Jaffa cakes and Canolies are my favorites.

Some things I don’t like....Anything with a scent, as I’ve gotten older I find my sense of smell, sadly, has changed😔
