UPDATE 2.25.26 I have decided to take a semi break from swap-bot. I will check in several times a week to check any messages but with the tumors I'm having so much pain that everything is a chore. I got an entire tray full of mail over the past week, most likely from the holiday rush. I'm not able to keep up with my rating so I am not joining any swaps or hosting any until I can get caught up and I don't know when I'll be able to do that. I hope everyone understands and can be patient with me.

UPDATE 12.21.25 I wanted to inform everyone that I have been diagnosed with 4 tumors in my brain. My current doctor is wildly under-reacting and wants me to wait 2 whole months before doing any further testing. She feels they are small enough to wait but I'm already having symptoms so I will go to my primary doctor first thing in the morning for a referral for a second opinion. That's all I know right now but I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

UPDATE 10.13.2025 @RachelSwaps has revenge rated me a bunch of ones and changed the ratings from fives. I don't know who to contact about this but its quite obvious what is going on. I gave her 2 days to reply to a message before rating a one for her not sending a swap. There are 2 swaps I did not receive. How petty can a person be. I try to do right by my swap partners, and I usually send extras but the vile and disgusting things she has said to me I will not deal with. I will proudly keep these ratings because I don't give in to bullies.

UPDATE 2025: I am trying to fix my missing swaps but I was on a new medication that nearly killed me. I'm off of it now but not totally back to normal. Add on top of that I had a heart attack and I'm still dealing with the effects of it. I am very sorry to everyone I flaked on. This is not like me at all, I promise.

UPDATE 2024: I was planning to start back swapping before Christmas but my brother passed away on Halloween day. I have finally joined a few swaps trying to get back into it.

UPDATE 2023: I have really been struggling the last 2 and a half years but I hope to start swapping again soon.

UPDATE 2021: I had a medication change and since I have bipolar disorder it really messed up my mental health. Couple that with 3 close deaths in a 10 day period just before Thanksgiving 2020 and I am really struggling.

My name is Jenny. I am 43 years old, twice divorced with no children. I rescued a black lab on 12/16/16 from a shelter. As soon as I saw her photo on Facebook I knew I had to meet her. The next day I drove out to the shelter, about an hour away. I ended up bringing her home that day and I changed her name to Baby Doll. Baby Doll passed away September 5, 2024 from cancer and I took it very hard. 11 days later one of my friends found some abandoned puppies at the end of her driveway and I adopted one. I named her Poppy Peaches and she is about to turn 1 on July 23, 2025. I have a little party planned for her because she really helped my mental health after suddenly losing Baby Doll. Poppy is 36% American Pit Bull Terrier, 24% Labrador Retriever, 19% Shar Pei (this is where she gets her wrinkles), 11% American Bull Dog and 10% Australian Cattle Dog. She is only about 40 pounds so she's small for what she should be.

I have had, over the years, lots of animals. Dogs, fish, hamsters, turtles, rabbits, a cat, a lamb and my own horse named Jenny's Jewel. Poppy is all I have right now.

I have my AA in Business and finished about half of my BS in HR Management before quitting due to being disabled with chronic migraine headaches.

I have lived in Alabama all my life and I love being from the south. The humidity gets bad in the summer. We usually don't have a spring or fall. It goes from summer to winter and winter to summer.

I'm (usually) a laid back, casual person. I prefer jeans and t-shirts over dresses any day. (I don't even own a dress or skirt) I'm definitely a country girl, though I don't hunt or fish, LOL.

Winter is my favorite season, I HATE summer. My favorite holiday is Christmas.

I love pink and purple camo anything. I love ANYTHING Browning or Carhartt!

I like Kawaii items (stickers, letter sets, memo sheets, etc). My most favorite characters are Cinamoroll, Rilakkuma, My Melody, Sentimental Circus, Little Twin Stars, Keroppi and Tarepanda.

My current favorite food are ribs. The best I have found so far are at Logan's. My favorite drinks are sweet tea, of course, and Mountain Dew. Baja Blast is my favorite along with Livewire and Voltage.

My favorite music is modern country and some pop/rock. A few of my favorites are Chris Young, Carrie Underwood, Jelly Roll, Russell Dickerson, Lady Antebellum, Kelsea Ballerini, Florida Georgia Line, RaeLynn, Rascal Flatts, Dan + Shay, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny Chesney, P!nk and of course King George (Strait).

I don't read a lot due to the migraine/headaches but I love the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. I tried audio books but turns out you have to concentrate for those too.

I love Tyler Perry as Madea. I love his movies and plays.

I love the classics like The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy and Bewitched.

I also like Mamas Family, The Golden Girls and Designing Women.

I also love Law & Order SVU, Criminal MInds and The Big Bang Theory.

• Anything that SMELLS. Smells are a definite migraine/headache trigger, esp perfume and cigarette smoke.

• Glitter or small confetti, if at all possible. They make a huge mess!

• Food or Drinks of any kind. In this day and age, I hate to say it, but I don't trust anyone I've never met in person.

I prefer my postcards blank, in an envelope but often I join swaps requiring the opposite. That is fine if you send it that way, I just prefer blank. I have limited space so I don't get to save EVERY PC. If I add a PC to my collection in goes in a 5x7 sheet and into a binder so you don't see the back.

I don't like handmade PCs.

I have been to the Smoky Mountains a few times and LOVE it. Gatlinburg is my most favorite city ever!

In the summer of 2006 I saw the beach for the first time. I went down to Gulf Shores for a conference for the job I was working at. My mom got to go with me and we had a great time. We stayed at the Perdido Beach Resort pictured below.

In December of 2008 I got to see Disney World for the first (and only) time. It was at Christmas time and was incredible. I went with my aunt and cousin. It was the best trip of my life.

I hate dollar store note cards, the brand is "Tender Thoughts", but like all others. I like writing paper and letter sets. I can always use envelopes (4x6 and bigger), ink pens, note books and note pads. I also like washi tape and I can always use blank greeting cards for ANY occasion.
