Hi, I'm Tami from Southern California.

I got married July 2010. I had to take a little break from swapping as life kept me too busy for a while.

Favorite colors: Green, aqua. But I also love pink & brown and aqua & brown combos. (Our wedding colors were aqua and chocolate brown.) Some other favorites are pink, lavender, black, aqua/teal/turquoise and blues.

But my home is decorated in mostly earthtones with some rusty red or blue accents.

I also love coffee, (the darker and bolder, the better) and my kitchen is decorated in a coffee theme.

I love flavored teas, too. I haven't found many herbal blends that I've liked, though, and I don't care for licorice/anise. I like pretty much everything else! I love green, white and black teas. I think fruit flavors are my favorites when I want to try something new. My favorite so far has been a mango-ginger black tea. But I also like chai and spice flavors.

Favorite scents: citrus, lilac, apple, and fresh, clean scents. (Like "clean cotton" or "spring rain".) I love candles! I love dragonflies. My favorite flowers are tulips.

I love dogs! I have a Westie named Fiona, so I love anything Westie related.

I'm really not too picky, and I love so many things that I can't list them all here. But... there are just a few things to let you know about my dislikes.

I'm allergic to cats. (I love them and think they are adorable, but they make me sneeze and itch.) And cigarette smoke.

But please don't stress about it too much if you have kitties or if you smoke and you've been assigned to send to me. I would never give a low rating because of cat hair or smoke smell. If you please, just do your best to keep smoke and kitties away from items to be sent. :) I would really appreciate it! If I do receive something that aggravates my allergies, I'll try to wash it or clean it before using.

No religious or political sentiments, please.

I don't care for vanilla-scented things. Vanilla flavor is ok, but I don't like the scent in soaps, lotions or candles.

I like to crochet, sew, make cards and scrapbook.

Crocheting - I'm working on a baby blanket right now, but sometimes I need to set it aside and work on other small projects to break things up. I would love to participate in some crochet swaps!

Scrapbooking - Currently I'm working on our wedding scrapbook, vacation scrapbooks from the past couple years (beach and Disney World), and my dog's scrapbook.

I really do like lots of different kinds of music. My iPod has quite an eclectic mix! a few of my favorites are Aimee Mann, Cheap Trick, Oingo Boingo, Dave Matthews Band, U2, Depeche Mode, Sarah McLachlan, Keane, Gaelic Storm.
