I love black and white. I knit (I prefer wool to "fun" yarns) and sew (mainly with thrifted "retro" fabrics, generally cotton).
I collect modern dolls house miniatures, black and white teatowels, and black and white 50s and 60s crockery.
I travel for architecture, design and dolls houses. So far I've visited Queen Mary's Dollshouse at Windsor Castle and the Thorne Rooms and Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle in Chicago.
Next on my list is the dollshouses of Amsterdam which I hope to tie in with learning more about the Bauhaus and Vienna Sucession in Germany and Austria.
I also love to cruise and so far have cruised Australia - New Zealand, The Baltic, The Meditterranean and from New York to Bermuda. Most recently I did a 16 night cruise from Sydney which visited Indonesia and Singapore.
I've always loved stationery and office supplies, adore dark chocolate, ginger, apricot and toffee. My favourite patterns are stripes, spots, checks and daisies (think Mary Quant!)
Check out my blog (link above) for what I'm up to at the moment...
Very very wide ranging. I DJed for 5 years of the 80s at student radio so alternative music from that era is a fave. Love anything by the Loop label in NZ or DNM in Norway.
Chillout and deep house is great but I also have a (not so) secret love of cheesy Europop like Ace of Base and Lasgo.
I'll buy any new release by Erasure, Depeche Mode, Everything but the girl (and Ben Watt) but will happily try anything once...
I love movies that make you sigh at the end: Amelie, Local Hero, Ever After.
I'm a sucker for anything by Aardman Animation, anything with The Muppets in it (Jim Henson was a God as far as I'm concerned) and I've decided Edna from The Incredibles is my hero.
I hardly watch TV but love shows like The 1900/ 1940/ Frontier/ etc etc House.
I'm curently curating an exhibition of miniature work by ten artisans, eight of whom have never worked in miniature, with an opening on August 12th.
That's taking up most of my creative space at the moment.
When I do have the time and inclination you'll find me knitting, sewing, making modern dolls house miniatures, and playing with freezer paper, fabric and my printer. I'm planning to try Spoonflower out soon, and create my own miniature fabrics plus finally find time to read a pile of books on altered art which were given to me by a friend.

Hi, this is your partner from the April b&w swap. Have you gotten your package?
Thanks Pam
Just to clarify, Pam mentioned that she'd been stiffed by the same swapper three times, the final time being the black and white swap I'd organised.
So I sent her a little something to make up for her run of bad luck...
