Hello! I'm AnneMarie (AMD) and I teach English. I live in central Massachusetts with my husband and our two cats. I have always loved writing letters and sending things in the mail. Packages just fascinate me for some weird reason. If you are here to Ban me from your swap because I'm new or just not cool enough for your swap, please stop reading. There's nothing cheesier than some clown being elitist but also trying to talk about books I like. Just move along to your cool crowd.
I love classical music. I'm a figure skater so it comes with the sport. I also really love musicals, again I think it's something to do with dancing on knife shoes...
And oh gosh, I hate to share this because I know a lot of people are just here to judge and be mean, but I like Weird Al.
That's a tough one. I teach English and (predictably) I read a lot. -Stephen King's everything. I love his short stories best, but also the Gunslinger Series was phenomenal! I wasn't too up on the film tho.
-Young Adult lit. I try to read a good amount of YA lit so I can always have an idea for my students. Hunger Games, Testing series. Unfortunately there's a lot of garbage out there. Bradbury is really wonderful for YA lit.
-Gothic Literature. Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, The Monk, Frankenstein. Those are some of my favorite books. God, I LIVE for these books!!!!
So I love horror movies best but then I have a big taste range for films.
Wes Anderson's everything. Those are amazing, but my favorite is Moonrise Kingdom.
Halloween (both the original and remake)
The Purge movies (can't help it, I'm trash and they are wonderful)
Cutting Edge - I figure skate, it's a requirement of the sport to love this film.
Blades of Glory - I figure skate, it's allowed by the sport to love this film.
I Tonya - I figure skate... please don't tell other figure skaters I love this film. I'll be thrown out of my rinks.
Castle Rock - can't wait to watch it illegally!
Rick and Morty - best writing on television
Stranger Things - I feel like tv doesn't have to be on your tv anymore
Jefree Star - okay, he's a youtuber but he's fascinating
Knitting, crochet, painting (I suck), drawing (I suck).

Your profile sounds like just the type of person I like. I'm your partner in just a random fact, ma'am (which I am also hosting). Thank you for joining the swap too by the way!
Hi! π
I wanted to say welcome. And Weird Al is awesome!
That is all.
Hello and welcome to Swap-bot! I'm from Massachusetts and currently live in Rhode Island! I loved your profile, you have some great humor. Really wanted to tell you that I love the movie 'The Cutting Edge' too - one of my favorites! I also love Aumtumn and all that it entails and the snow which I think is a requirement to living in New England! LOL :D
Hi, fellow newbie here.
I just ran across your profile...this place is as black-holish like the web. Anywho, you stated you wanted to try macha. Next time you hit up Starbucks ask for their green tea latte. They tend to over-sweeten it, tho, so depending on your preference you may want them to dumb it down a bit. Calm it down? Unsugarfy it? You know what I mean. Hopefully.
Take care and see you around! :)
Welcome to Swap-bot! Love your profile and the humor that comes through. Be sure to check out Newbie Helpers - I did and it was super helpful, especially in ensuring positive experiences.
Best, Zoe
Have you read "The Bassoon King" by Rainn Wilson? He had a wacky childhood! Laughed through most of it, cried in other parts. :) oh & the audio, he narrated & it was hilarious!
Welcome to Swap-Bot!
