I enjoy gardening, writing, reading and playing games -- board games and bridge.

I love gardens full of flowers. My front yard is beautiful in April with fragrant sweet peas.

I write letters and postcards to many friends. If someone I know is going through a hard time, I will try to "wash" them in cards and notes. Like 5 over two weeks or so. If you know of anyone who would appreciate a note, let me know. I've written to strangers to help them through an illness, a divorce, a death and more.

During the summer I enjoy going to live music and Shakespeare plays.

We have one cat, Lucy. A short-haired grey rescue. She greets everyone who comes to our home.

Recently I've enjoyed Tom Lake, The God of the Woods and I'm currently reading The Humans.

I enjoy cozy mysteries. The Thursday Murder Club, Louise Penny series, Elizabeth George series and more.

Also like historical fiction. Enjoyed Kristin Hannah novels.

I enjoy film noir, black and white movies.

There is much language on this site that I don't really understand -- journal "cards", ephemera (what is this???), and so much more.

I don't enjoy bloody or scary images. I do like Edward Gorey images.

I have stuff I'll never need or use. These are small items. Mostly received for free. So medium quality.
