Hi there!
I firmly believe there are few better surprises in life than finding something fun in the mailbox, and I’ve always loved the creativity, thoughtfulness, and connection that swapping brings. There is something genuinely special about sending a little joy out into the world and knowing someone else gets to experience it.
A little about me: I’m a wife, mom, lifelong creative, and someone who somehow manages to collect new hobbies faster than I can organize the supplies for them. I love beautiful stationery, thoughtful details, well-designed paper goods, and probably own more pens, stickers, and creative materials than any one person reasonably should. I appreciate the little things that make everyday life feel a bit more intentional and beautiful.
I care a lot about being a great swap partner and always do my best to send on time, rate promptly, and follow through on every commitment I make. Life can occasionally get busy, so if I’m ever a little delayed on ratings or messages, I truly appreciate patience and grace. I don’t flake, I care deeply about every swap I join, and if something ever gets missed, I’ll always make it right.
Looking forward to swapping with you and sharing a little happy mail along the way 💌
A Few Favorite Things
📚 Books I have a deep love for beautiful books of all kinds, especially fashion books, cookbooks, craft books, and memoirs. My all-time favorite memoir is My Life in France by Julia Child. I’ve always admired how deeply passionate she was about what she did and how unapologetically she pursued joy through creativity.
I’m also a passionate baker, so vintage dessert cookbooks, unique baking books, and anything food-related will always have a happy home with me. As for fiction, I tend to gravitate toward lighter, fun escape reads like Bridget Jones’s Diary, Confessions of a Shopaholic, and stories that feel witty, charming, and a little indulgent.
🎵 Music My music taste is honestly all over the place, and I love discovering new artists. I gravitate most toward pop, rock, indie, singer-songwriter, and the occasional dramatic power ballad. Favorite artists include Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic, and Guns N’ Roses, Sara Bareilles, Peter Cincotti, Nickelback, Linkin Park, and Andy Grammer.
I also have a completely shameless soft spot for late 90s and early 2000s boy bands, because some musical allegiances never leave you.
(Only genres I can never quite get into: rap and heavy metal.)
🎬 Movies & TV I’m very much a drama and comedy person and tend to avoid horror completely. Some forever favorites include The Devil Wears Prada, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Pitch Perfect, Julie & Julia, Sex and the City, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Gone in 60 Seconds, and Coyote Ugly.
For television, I love sharp writing, layered characters, beautiful production design, and stories centered around ambition, complicated people, and high stakes. Favorites include The Bear, Top Chef, Mad Men, Scandal, The Buccaneers, Revenge, Nashville, The Tudors, Reign, The Newsroom, House of Cards, Once Upon a Time, and Game of Thrones.
Currently watching The Sandman on Netflix, which is slightly outside my normal comfort zone but has been unexpectedly creepy in a very compelling way.
✨ Other Things I Love Beautiful stationery, thoughtful design, baking projects, collecting far too many creative hobbies, flowers, elevated everyday luxuries, pretty packaging, cooking for people I love, and finding small ways to make ordinary life feel a little more beautiful.
Basically, if it is beautiful, creative, nostalgic, delicious, or thoughtfully designed… I’m probably interested.
Creative Hobbies
On any given weekend, you can usually find me wandering a bookstore with an overambitious stack of books, testing a new recipe in the kitchen, snapping candids on my camera, or knee-deep in whatever hobby has currently captured my attention. I’ve always been someone who loves making things with my hands and learning new creative skills simply for the joy of creating.
My favorite hobbies tend to rotate, but the constants are baking (especially elaborate desserts and vintage-inspired recipes), crocheting, paper crafts and stationery, making jewelry, and photography, and generally collecting more creative hobbies.
I have a particular weakness for beautiful paper goods, office supplies I absolutely do not need, kitchen gadgets that promise to change my life, and any project that lets me turn an ordinary afternoon into an excuse to make something beautiful.
Favorite Things & Little Joys
I tend to love things that feel beautiful, timeless, creative, and a little nostalgic. I’m drawn to details that make everyday life feel more intentional, whether that’s something elegant, vintage-inspired, handmade, or simply thoughtfully designed.
Some things I’m always excited about:
• Soft, comforting scents like vanilla, lavender, bergamot, honey, warm amber, and other cozy clean fragrances
• Flowers of all kinds, but especially roses, peonies, garden florals, and anything romantic or botanical
• Vintage treasures, antique-inspired pieces, old photographs, black and white photography, heirloom details, and objects with a sense of history
• Feminine details like lace, lace doilies, ribbon, satin textures, pearls, rhinestones, delicate embellishments, and beautiful metallic accents (gold, silver, champagne, rose gold — I love them all)
• Beautiful paper goods including stationery, stickers, journaling ephemera, decorative paper, tags, pretty packaging, and office supplies I absolutely do not need but will happily collect anyway
• Baking-related anything: recipes, vintage cookbooks, dessert inspiration, baking accessories, kitchen ephemera, filled out recipe cards, and beautifully designed food-related items
• Creative supplies of almost every variety because I collect hobbies like other people collect trading cards — craft materials, Cricut supplies, yarn, crochet tools, embellishments, buttons (especially vintage buttons), charms, beads, pins, brooches, and all the little bits that can become something beautiful later
• Colors I naturally gravitate toward most are soft blues, dusky purples, elegant neutrals, classic black and white, and anything timeless rather than trendy
• Anything I can enjoy with my little guy (age 4.5) always makes me smile — kid-friendly activities, books, crafts, learning activities, or little surprises we can experience together
A Few Gentle No Thank You’s
I truly appreciate all the thought and kindness that goes into swaps, and I know everyone has different styles and tastes. While I’m grateful for anything sent with good intentions, here are a few things that generally aren’t a great fit for me:
• Kawaii-style items or very youthful/cartoon-heavy aesthetics (just not quite my personal style -- unless it's something intended for my son)
• Character merchandise, especially Stitch or similar franchise-themed items (again unless it's something intended for my son)
• Food, candy, edible treats, or consumables. I have dietary restrictions and allergies, so I generally avoid food swaps. If I do happen to sign up for a swap with a food component, I like caramels, milk chocolate, and gummy bears.
• Sports-related items, teams, or sports-themed memorabilia (I admire the enthusiasm from afar 😄)
• Clown-themed anything. Funny story: my mom was actually a clown when I was growing up, so I’ve probably hit my lifetime clown quota already
• Items that are damaged, torn, excessively worn, stained, or in poor condition
• Vintage items that carry strong musty, smoky, dusty, or storage odors. I absolutely love vintage treasures, but I do prefer pieces that have been well cared for over time
• Anything heavily scented with artificial fruit, candy-like, or overpoweringly sweet fragrances tends not to be my favorite
That said, I genuinely appreciate the thought behind every swap and know that kindness always matters more than perfection 💌
