I live in the state of West Virginia which is a whole different state than Virginia! For some reason many people don't realize this and it makes me shake my head! I spent most of my life in Michigan (44 years!) so I often travel through Ohio to visit family and friends back home. I am married with two young adult children - and love three fun rescue dogs, Molly, Toby and Zoey - Yes, I’m a big West Wing fan and they were named after characters from the show. Toby is my daughters dog but really, they are a handful but we love them!
Things I like to get in swaps - unwritten postcards, US mint postage stamps, bookmarks, washi tape, post it type notes, blank note cards, wax melts, coffee K-cups, socks (fun pattern), plastic credit card type cards with nothing on them (hotel key cards, Starbuck gift cards, any gift cards), playing card with any fun pattern on the back, fun shaped metal paper clips/bookmarks, crochet hooks (always use a J/6), dog treats and small adult jigsaw puzzles, magnets, homemade fun envelopes.
I am getting into art/junk/smash books and journaling. I don’t care for all the vintage paper and stickers that are out there. I like more modern, contemporary, fun stuff. So any papers, stickers, magazine pages/pictures of interesting things, especially my likes, would be great as an extra in a swap.
I joined here to swap postcards! I like both written and unwritten.
But I am really into glue books and junk journals now. Please send me any fun images from magazines -black and white are awesome! And anything that would be good for these journals. With magazines being such an oddity these days now that everything is online, it is difficult to get a lot of paper images.
For postcard ideas -
I like both touristy and non touristy cards. ESPECIALLY would love postcards with these themes -
Yarn, crochet (good luck!)
Coffee, fun coffee houses
Jigsaw puzzles
Postage stamps
Michigan colleges & universities
Baseball stadiums, anything baseball
Carmel California
Art - all kinds
Roadside attractions
Actors, musicians, bands
History U.S
Waterfalls
Books
beaches
boats
barns, country life
Norman Rockwell type
Scotland, kilts
Canada
cowboys
Coke
Peanuts
Otters
Dogs
PLEASE Do NOT send small, vintage or old type postcards. I don't care for them. I just pass them on or throw them away. Not my thing.
Don't know what to write? I love quotes, book recommendations, what was the last movie you saw? How would you spend an ideal day? What one person (dead of alive) would you like to have lunch with? Podcast recommendation?
I have also really started collecting playing cards with fun themes. I have been starting to swap them and it is crazy fun. Have any extras? Send them on to me, I'd love them.
I’ve start to do art/junk/smash journals and love all kinds of ephemera for this. The only thing I don’t really enjoy or use is cutesy stuff like strawberry shortcake, hello kitty, etc…. There is so much ‘old’ looking stuff out there. But anything related to cameras, typewriters, mail, dogs, coffee, cooking, travel, clocks would be awesome. Pages from old books, especially with interesting illustrations or pictures - love vintage kids goods or travel guides.
I collect US postcards, salt and pepper shakers, Starbuck gift cards and state coffee mugs, antique coffee grinders, bookmarks and magnets.
I LOVE to READ - historical fiction, some biographies, non gory thrillers, suspense, classic literature. I have read some very good YA books recently too. Even though Lord of the Flies is my favorite book from my younger years - The Boxcar Children and Nancy Drew before that - I’m not huge into dystopia. I’m in two books clubs currently and enjoy most of the picks even though some are way out of my usual wheelhouse. I’ve read a lot of Harlan Cobden, John Grisham, Janet Evanovich, Marie Bennett, Lorna Landvik, Jeannette Walls, Lisa Jewel and Lucy Foley (two each of those). John Hart, William Kent Kruger and Phillips Gregory. I’ve read a lot about Hamilton (LOVED< LOVED) the musical and Molokai by Alan Bennett is one of my all time fav books.
Cats, Sci fi (except Star Wars), fairies, vampires, goth, fantasy, super heroes, kawaii, violence, unicorns, anima, tattoos, religious themes, tractors, cars, body building, vintage small type.
I have done many crafts in my day -scrapbooking, crochet, beading, card stamping, rag wreaths and others. I have so many supplies that I could open my own store. Doing a lot with paper lately, cards, junk journal, recipe scrapbook and glue journals.
I do like fun stickers - no kiddie cute please unless it's Peanuts! U.S. mint postage stamps - love stamps of all kinds, gift tags, bookmarks, 'list' type paper, dog treats, coffee, magnets, candle melts (Scentsy and all other kinds), handmade soaps, note cards, coffee mugs and did I mention postcards? Ha
I look forward to swapping and please feel free to contact me with any questions or issues. Communication is an easy way to resolve confusion or let someone know concerns and give positive feedback. I welcome contact with you all.

Hi from Australia ❤ I've just come across you and we share the same birthday 😁😁😁
I just rated you, but wanted to add. Thank you for the cool women's suffrage stamp. I noticed it, and I really liked it!
Thank you for the Seneca Rocks Post card for the "unassigned" p/c roulette. I actually visited Sececa rocks and caverns back in 1991. Was so beautiful then and I am sure, still is. You brought back some great memories with your card :-) .
Thanks for the RAK postcard! It was a nice surprise! :)
Thank you so much for angel-ing Julie! I loved the Rockwell card! :)
