UPDATE 2-01-2025: Happy New year everyone. We can make this a beautiful fun year together. I have not swapped since December. I have been sleeping 12-16 hours a day and feeling weak. I have found out I am anemic on top of everything else. So, feeling slightly better and I am excited to be back here with all of you:}

Update March 23, 2024, I am a 47-year-old mom, grandma and wife. (This is the toughest job out there). I have 5 grown children, 3 girls and 2 boys. 2 of my children may not be born unto me but they are still mine and loved. (My greatest Treasures).I have many grandchildren from ages 4-13 whom i love dearly. I have 2 dogs named Miki and Jezzy. they are both small dogs. I also have 3 parakeets named rain, winter and Ceili. I also have 2 conures named Ruby and Elliot I never knew a bird could love so much or that I could love a bird so much. I have many health issues. I have been fighting cml (leukemia) for the past 11 years or so. The chemotherapy medication is about $20,000 per month. insurance expects me to be able to cover a $5000 copay. i don't know anyone who can pay a $5000 copay every month, thank God there is always copay assistance and other programs out there that can help with these things. Then I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis which I was diagnosed in 2020 when I had to leave work because I could no longer get out of bed and stay awake. Now I get Simponi infusions every 8 weeks for RA. Life can be a struggle some days. I also struggle with depression and anxiety which does not help with everything going on I have been fighting every day since I was 18 with my mental health, in and out of therapy. I will continue to fight to be the best that I can be, I have started going to the chiropractor every week for about 4 months now. it has been a huge help. Every day I am trying to improve my stamina to be able to live my best life. Yes of course, there are setbacks. I will not give up though. I will keep on fighting; I will keep trying to give my smile to every stranger I can because I know what it's like not to have a smile to share.
