Hello there! I'm Meli :) I've been in the swap and snail mail community since 2021, mainly over on Instagram. I am very excited to be on swap-bot and connect with more people!

I work in communications, and I have a little dog I love to spoil. In my free time I’m usually watching a movie or show while working on a craft.

Stickers, cute memos, fun decorated paper, stamps (both kinds!), buttons, ribbons, lace, bows, and tiny stationery (mini prints, envies, paper doilies).

I junk journal and scrapbook, so I love to find uses for any type of ephemera. Stamps from mail I receive ends up in my junk journal or my stamp collection book :)

I love any and all vintage stickers! Sandylion and Ms Grossman stickers are my current favorites. I also love discovering new brands and small businesses.

Postcards I’d love to receive: art themes (peanuts, richard scary, vintage, studio ghibli, Impressionism, etc) national parks, forests/nature scenery, anything cute, ‘greetings from,’ and I also love postcards from around the world!

Characters: tinker bell, miffy, snoopy/peanuts, sonny angels, smiskis, pochacco, chococat, monchhichi, strawberry shortcake, care bears, littlest pet shops, rilakkuma, etc.

Colors: green, pastels, red, pink

Patterns: gingham, polka dots, stars, stripes, hearts, anything fun

Aesthetics: goblincore, cottagecore, light academia, twee

Movies: studio ghibli, mcu, knives out trilogy, dreamworks movies, pixar movies

Shows: haikyuu, parks and rec, the good place, bnha, atla, jjk

More favorites: teddy bears, mice, bees, strawberries, dogs, cats, anything vintage

I am also a nostalgic person and love to collect sentimental things: for me that means anything related to early 2000s cartoons (I was a qubo and PBS kid, and really into blues clues, the back yardigans, etc), anything beatrix potter, tinker bell, barbie, etc.

Snail mail, journalling, and scrapbooking are my main hobbies. This has evolved into collecting stickers and postage stamps. I recently organized a collection of stamps I got from an estate sale in a collection book!

Thrift shopping and going to estate sales is a close second. It's where I find most of my stationery, and it's a great way to be eco friendly :)

I also love to read! I'm prone to falling into reading slumps, but I can binge a good book in a day depending on my mood. If you have any book recommendations I’m all ears! I read pretty much all genres. My favorites as a kid were Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, and a recent favorite is Project Hail Mary.

Spiders, themes that overtly use the color black (it’s just hard for me to use with my other supplies!), gore or violence.

I don’t love overtly large puffy stickers.

I do not use glitter much, and I never use anything created by AI. I also am not religious and would prefer not to receive items of this nature.
