New Facebook group: Weekly ATC Quest

Excited to swap! I've created over 800 ATCs, and I've traded lots on Facebook. I also enjoy swapping happy mail, ephemera, and bookish items. I'm in many Facebook swap groups. I've been running Literally Bookish Book Club on Facebook for 6 years which has almost 8k members. I work in healthcare, and live in NJ with my husband and daughter. I'm a spoonie (multiple chronic health conditions).

Comment: I really didnt appreciate being given a whole bunch of items with AI generated art, and don't really understand why someone would use AI generation to create an entire infographic, laden with generated drawings, about ATCs of all things. ATCs as a hobby hinge entirely on personal artistic expression and creativity, so it seems kind of counterproductive and anti-ATC. Maybe you're just not aware that AI generation software unethically trains their algorithms on stolen artwork made by other real human artists. But thanks for everything else that was included. <3 Edit: I sent you a message, since you wanted me to educate you, it is kind of long but I wanted to ensure I answered everything as best as I could. I hope we can have a productive conversation. Thanks
Response: I'm sorry you weren't happy with my envelope. I do not know how to tell if something is AI or not. I'm relatively new to ATCs, and art in general. How else would someone create an image - is there different software that is not considered AI? I only know of chatGPT for creating things. If you'd like to give me tips or education it would be helpful. Also, honestly, your review of my swap was hurtful, discouraging and not constructive (considering you know nothing about me or my experience level)- I put a lot of thought, money and effort into making sure my swaps go above and beyond. I do not understand why people get SO upset about AI. You're the first to even mention AI. I had a bad taste in my mouth since I started on swapbot as my first impression of this community was cold and unwelcoming. Be kind please.
