I work very late and very long hours. I most frequently use my Firm's mailroom to send out mail as I don't have many opportunities to make it to the post office during business hours. What this means is that sometimes, depending on how busy the mailroom is, items I send out are not processed until the next day and the postmark will be a day late. This is also true if I make it to the post office closest to me that is open late because even though the post office is open until 10pm, all mail received after 5pm is postmarked with the next day's date. ALL MAIL I SEND OUT ON SATURDAYS WILL HAVE MONDAY'S POSTMARK (this sometimes happens with mail I send out on Fridays, too, if it isn't processed early enough by the mail room).
If this is a problem for you and you are going to rate me down because of the one date difference in postmarking, please let me know so I can make sure this doesn't happen with your happy mail. Thanks!
My name is Ellie, I'm 42 years old and I live in Staten Island, NY with my 25 year old son and my two fur babies (two year old kitties named Princess Fancy Catalina and Captain Schmancy McFluffyPants). I love to read, write, experiment with new art techniques, and learn all that I can from others. I love spending time with family and friends. I have a passion for traveling and love to take pictures (although I am far from being professional). My dream trip is to safari in Africa. I have a small obsession with food and enjoy trying new flavors as often as possible. My favorite restaurant is in Copenhagen and I would eat there every day if I could. I went sky diving for my 30th birthday and would love to do it again - I think. I love a challenge and anything that makes me rethink what I thought I already knew.
I love music and have an extremely wide range of interests. I enjoy everything from classical and opera to hard rock, pop, 80s hair band, freestyle, Broadway show tunes, jazz, rag, Christmas music, polkas and pretty much anything that doesn't include screaming death metal or hardcore rap.
You can find Frank Sinatra, Andrea Bocelli, Katie Perry, Madonna, The Who, Rush, Mozart, Billie Holiday, John Coltrane, Ozzy, GaGa, Bo Jovi, Billy Joel, Bing Crosby, Green Day, Sublime and so many others playing on my Pandora because why limit yourself and when my mood determines my music and my music determines my mood, I like endless possibilities!
The older the better. Love Betty Davis, Vivien Leigh, Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietricht, Sofia Lauren - all of them!
80s movies (The Breakfast Club, Stand By Me, Mannequin, Can't Buy Me Love)
Star Wars (Episodes IV, V, VI)
A Clockwork Orange
Musicals ( The Sound of Music, Grease, Singing in the Rain, Mary Poppins, Annie, Rocky Horror Picture Show)
The Godfather
Sophie's Choice
Young Frankenstein
History of the World
The Wizard of Oz
Gone with the Wind
Taxi Driver
Psycho
I usually prefer dramas and absolutely hate blood & gore horror films and the kinds of comedies that Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, etc. star in.
I don't have regular television/cable, so everything I watch has to be on Netflix or Hulu.
