Response: I am very glad you liked it and now I can tell about my first not so great idea - I had bought a larger, polka dot oilclothpiece in red & white and thought it would be *perfect* for you. Looked nice until I tried to put things in it, seems oilcloth-handles are not the best choice, the bag got big holes in it from just a little weight....Well, this was another piece of fabric with dots so I thought it could be good too :)
Response: Thank you, it was fun making it and my son said woooow, is this for me so guess who´s sewing more of them :)

Response: Thanks! The one loking like any small purse has got to be the 300th or something made by now ;) my mother and I sell stuff on craftmarkets during the summers and small purses are always a given hit. I´m glad you liked them and hope the ones I receive from my partner have another model so I get some new inspiration :)
Response: Thanks, glad you liked them! I found felt balls www.ornamentea.com/FeltBalls.htm and www.etsy.com/shop/HandbehgFELTS , tried to make them as clickable links first but apparently it doesn´t work on comments. Let me know the result :)
Response: Thank you, glad you liked them :)
Response: Thanks :). When ironing on plastic you need to be quick, firm and use medium heath. The plastic usually bends a bit but will look nice again after having spent a day or two under some heavy books. Works on certain kind of plastic only and they must be quite strong. Thanks for making the swap!
Response: Thanks, I hope so too :)
Response: That has got to be a record in quick delivery, two days for a letter to arrive in Holland is superquick :) Thanks for the rating, let me know if you try the recipe and what you think of it (if anyone is allergic, the almonds is easy to skip, just add some more flour or take sunflower seeds instead).
Response: Thanks for the heart :)
Response: Thanks, hope you come join more of the dishcloth swaps :)

Response: Thanks, please come up with more fun ideas for our little group, this was great :)
Response: Thanks, I had hoped though for larger loops but they were pretty hard to get in place, they tend to try to sneak away :)
Response: Thank you, when reading your profile I thought this might be something you´d like :)
Response: Thank you, please join more of the swaps in our little group :)
Response: Thanks, I thought it was fun to try something a bit different and well, a group founder should get something little extra nice every now and then ;)

Response: Oh, am I glad they have arrived :) Got to say I have no idea how a little letter that usually take like a week to ten days suddenly took over three weeks to arrive. Let´s hope for better service the next time, I really fancy these charmswaps so thanks for arranging them!
Response: Thanks, hope they come in handy and the applepie can of course have icecream with it too if you don´t fancy vanilla sauce :)
Response: Thanks for all your nice comments, this was great fun to make although I got to admit the reslut was more close to a spider than a jellyfish :)))))
Response: Thanks for your comment :) We have used the curls as they are when we felt and they make nice edges or give a fun texture to it. I used to have lots and lots of them so let´s swap again when we´ve stored up some more :)

Response: Thank you, I´ll let him know :)
Response: You´re welcome, hope you liked the horrific mix and those really awful small ones :))))
Response: Thanks, the dotee was really fun to make although I wanted the hair to have more "unsuccessful" french knots than plain ones. It was very hard to make them wrong so unfortunately there aren´t that many. I will find out a better way to do that I hope, they made lovely faked curls!
And thank *you* for making this wonderful swap, if you make more swaps with "useful" dotees I would love to participate!
Response: Thanks for your very nice comment! If you fancy to swap more pincushions I might persuade you to join out absolutely insane serie of animal pincushions :)))))

Response: :))))) I have read this out loud to my family who still insist it was a rabbit. Thank you!
Response: Thank you for arranging this swap! I took the liberty of taking the pattern with me on our holiday and it is now used in a sewing group in the Swedish Church, Gran Canaria. They really liked it! Also, thanks for your nice comments :)

Response: Thanks for your comment :)
Response: Happy you liked it :)
Response: Thank you, I was escecially happy when I found the Japanese fabric. It is fun to go hunting for something special. I have later found a rather old tablecloth (cross-stitched) with Asian motifs from the same thriftstore so if you feel like making a private swap sometime it´s yours :)

I´m sure we´ll swap again and if he wants to you can maybe send a little list of the stamppainters (don´t know the word in English, sorry) he likes best and I can look out for new stamps that they have made? Just let me know :)

Response: You´re welcome, I hope it will of use during the autumn :)
Response: Thanks and again, you have a really, really interesting and inspiring blog!
Response: I´m very glad you liked them thanks, when I think retro and vintage I think what we had here in Sweden and after I started swapping I realized that´s very seldom the same as it looked like the rest of the world :))))
Response: You´re welcome, I thought it was a funny idea and a way to make use of all the old knitted (and rather unpractical) pot-holders I have. Maybe it could be something for a group swap :)?
Response: Ann, I´m very happy that you liked your little parcel. I collect odd fabrics and if you like to I can look out for more fabrics that could be suitable for your dad. I thought a sensory quilt was a really, really wonderful idea. Please pm me if you have any special wishes.
Response: I´m glad you liked it, it is always fun to be your swappartner because I feel like you are the right person to appreciate handmade things. Until next time :)
Response: Oh good, they were not your TexMexfavourites but I hope you´ll enjoy them anyway :)
Response: Thanks, let me know when you do so I know what you thought of them :)
Response: I´m happy you liked them, I did all the recipecards before the partners were assigned but it would have felt a bit silly to send recipes for something that your family couldn´t eat (pie and bread LOL) so this was a fun challange! With a lot of allergies I can recommend looking for Hare Krishna recipes, they tend to pick other kind of flour, never uses eggs and have a lot of stuff without diary too. A lot of hard-to-find spices but once you have them they last a long time.
Response: Isn´t he a darling (when he wants to LOL). I write this on my brother´s computor since we´re off holiday but as soon as I come home again I´ll rate yours too :)

Response: Thank you, it was fun to put the fabrics together :)
Response: Then I say welcome to the wonderful world of charmswaps :) I´ve had some relly, really nice swaps too and in July I´m going to a quiltclass called "Dotted bags made from charms" so I´ll be able to use all the nice charms too :)
Response: Yippi! I was starting to mistrust the whole postal system.Lesson learned, never ever send anything stuffed to Australia and always use very plain parcels *s* I´m releived you got it in the end and please let me know if the first package ever arrive :)
Response: Happy you liked them :)
Response: I must admit that the idea with the insoles is an idea I´ve knicked from my mom. We had a lot of wool sweaters when I grew up and when they were too small or got holes she washed them hard and cut out soles. I thought that was such a good idea so I keep doing that for my child now :)
Response: Happy you liked it and the phone thing is, as I wrote, my latest addiction. It doesn´t aquire so much yarn so it´s perfect for those small yarns that are left in a ball :)
Response: You´re welcome and I hope they will look nice and bright on your rainbow quilt :)
Response: Great, I thought your husband would fancy those :) I have a doublett of the (when they came) very controversial ICA-advertisment on footballplayers too but those I want to keep LOL
I´ll check my collection and see what I can live without. Glad you liked your stuff too :)
Response: I absolutely agree, it´s so much fun with the friendship quilts and round robins, when other people contribute to your project it can almost end up like anything :) Looking forward to having you as an partner in one of the future friendship quilt swaps!
Response: Very glad that you liked it and if you develope a sweet tooth just pm me and I´ll send over a bunch of recipes :)

Response: Glad you liked them and I forgot to write that it was especially fun to send something to Italy since my sister-in-law is Italian and I´m trying my best to make her interested in swaps :)
Response: Thank you and I hope the boys will have fun with it :)
Response: That was nice to hear, thanks!
Response: Well, I saw a friend in the fleamarketbusiness in you, I loooove going to fleamarkets and there´s so much fun finding old things there! The buttons are actually from the same place and it´s my favourite market around here.
Response: Thank you, I think I had as much fun making the envelopes as receiving them :)
Response: I´m glad you liked the stuff, these swaps are soooo fun to make!
Response: About the lavender, immediately after sending your socks I realized I had no idea if lavender was ok to send to other countries. I learned that seeds an be stopped so now I was mad about myself for sending this and thought those socks would get stucked in customs LOL
Glad they made their way to you, looking forward to the next winterwearswap!

Response: I´m sooo glad this one arrived, please let me know if the first one ever turns up ;)
Response: If the tutorial is too whimsy at times you can always contact me for an explanation ;). I wrote it just the days before leaving for holiday and I do hope it made sense LOL
Hope you had a nice holiday too!
Response: I´m glad you liked them and sometimes it´s so funny that small scraps of fabric just make perfect, I´ve saved the patriotic fabrics for years not knowing what to make of them and then you came - lucky me :)
Response: I´m so happy you liked it! I got to say that the invisible thread is best when sewing by hand, by mashine it just gets messy!
Response: Well, aren´t I the one to rather thank you :) I am very grateful for you letting me know that I had missed vital information in the swapdescription instead of giving me a poor rating.
And yes, all the stuff (except the buttons) are homemade. I´m soon out of handdyed yarn so I think this summer will be full of new projects on that front :)
Thanks for your patience and hope we´ll swap again!
Response: Thank you for your kind comments, the lady in my yarnshop and I had great fun searching for suitable patterns for the woolyarn, please let me know how it turns out later on, I think she´s even more curious than I am :))
Response: Thank you, it was so fun mixing all the colours for the yarn so we´ll do it again this summer :)

Thank you!
Response: Thank you and hope you´ll fins something nice to do with the wool :)
Response: Glad you liked them :)
Response: Glad you liked them, they are so fun to make!
Response: I saw something similar on a craftsmarket some years ago and thought I might try to make one my own. It´s not that hard, just pick a zipper, open it and make a circle (so you know how big a circle to cut. Cut two pieces fabric and put thick vliseline in the middle. I cut out fabric to sew around it (just take twice as much as needed and fold in half) and sew on the zipper by hand. The funny thing on the zipper you can make from two buttons sewn together, just cut out circles a few centimetres bigger than the button. The only tricky thing is that it doesn´t turn out nicely when sewn on a machine, otherwise I would try them for a market myself ;).
Glad you liked it and please feel free to take after the idea - I did :)
Response: Thanks, I might just do that :)
Response: You´re so welcome!
Response: Thank you for putting up with getting a cloth from a newbie, I´ll try more advanced patterns later but right now it´s a beginner´s paradise :)
Response: Glad you liked it, hope they can become some nice things!
Response: Thank you and if you like batiks I got to share my favourite fabricshop with you, fabricshack.com, they have tons of batiks
Response: And a special thanks to you from me and my local postoffice, both of us know more about geography now :)
Response: Oh good, as I wrote to Anna I was not at all sure about how to make it nicest possible so I´m very happy you liked them :)
Response: Thank you, of all the swaps I got to say that I was superstressad about sending out this one because I had nooooo idea how to make it really special for my swap-partners :). PP looks complicated but it really is quite easy. I´ll try to write a simpel tutorial but I think I got to get some help with pictures so beware, it might be rather whimsy LOL.
Response: Thank you, I´ve plenty of stamps that I don´t use so for my own sake I hope I get you as my swappartner again :)
Response: Thanks, it´s always a bit tricky when sending a mail to another country, sometimes it takes just a few days and sometimes ten - god only knows how the Swedish postoffices work ;)
Response: In respond I would like to thank you for the very nice mail you sent, it is so fun to make people happy :)
Response: Thank you Barbara, I´m sure we´ll meet again in another buttonswap and I´ll keep my eyes out for more funny buttons :)
