Comment: I just finished reading your journal and I love it! Thank you so much! Your town sounds wonderful. I would love to experience living in a place like that. I have always lived in a city, so I have no idea what it would be like, but after reading your journal, it sounds like I'd love it. I really appreciate all the photos you added too. I think the Santa event sounds amazing - so awesome that the kids get to pick out a gift to give! I love that idea! I also love your craft party idea - I must host something like that in the future. I could go on and on...and if I can manage it, I really want to find some time in the next week or two to sit down and write you a letter so I can talk to you more about everything in your journal. I will add this here though - your son does need a spankin'!! I did not see or feel that spider on that page until I turned to that page and just about had a heart attack!!! LOL! I can only imagine what you have gone through finding that thing around your house...I would be freaking out too!! I'm having anxiety just reliving the moment of finding it in the book LOL! I really enjoyed finding recipes and the little paper bird ornament though - and I wish I could try that Thai food! Yummy! :) Thanks so much for everything! :)

Response: First off, I did not demand a five. I said I didn't know that you could give a 5 for a swap you received before late rating were even available. My misunderstanding. Secondly I will never regret trying to figure out what was wrong with my son's heart, instead of making sure I contacted you. This was the absolute worst swap experience I have had in the 4 years I have been swapping. I have always been able to work with fellow swappers before, rather it was from my end or there's. Compromise is in no way in your vocabulary. If my son had been sick before the swap I would not have signed up. It just so happens that the ATC was done before partners were assigned and an emergency happened. Life happens to all of us and I wish you the best in yours.

I have done enough of these scripture swaps that I have a collection in a recipe card box by my bed. It is really nice to look through them, which makes it nice to have them be the 3" x 5" size in the swap, BUT I have enough of those that it is nice to get something different, too.

Response: I'm glad you liked them. I get catalogs too and look at them forever, but have never ordered. We had a drought last summer and my garden just didn't enjoy the hose water.

Comment: Thank you for BOTH Dotees - they are adorable. Green and red, so they will match my Christmas tree! I love the bells - a lovely touch - and whatever you filled them with makes them crinkly, which is great. You are right, they are going to become very addictive.
Response: I am so glad you liked them, besides ATCs these might be one of my favorite swaps.
I've decided if I am going to swap I have to get better at recycling. So the dolls are stuffed with Wal-mart bags & left over tissue paper from gifts. I also have a big bag that I've been throwing even the littlest bits of fabric in, this too makes for good filler.
