💌 Taking a couple months swapping break to finish up getting ready for a craft show with a friend in September 💌

When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks. But celebrate them with glad cries of “me too!” be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your Tribe.

A little about me.

HI THERE!! Thanks for stopping by, I’m Deborah, but prefer to be called Deb or Debbie. My hubby is the only person I know that actually calls me Deborah, dad called me Deb & mom always called me Debbie.

I’m a down to earth Texas country girl. Grew up in small town & now still living the small town life. I am married to the love of my life that actually supports all that I do.

I’m a mom to 2 daughters (1son-in-laws), a Mimi to 6 grandkids (1 grand-daughter-in-law & 2 grandsons-in-laws) and 9 precious GREAT grand children ( 7 boys & 2 girls)💙💝💙💙💙💙💙💙💝 New years Day we found out that a new great grandbaby will be here in July!! A baby GIRL 💝! I’m over the moon excited! Mother’s Day weekend 2026!! At my daughter’s house and visiting with the youngest granddaughter I nonchalantly asked her if her and her hubby had thought about adding to their little family. They have a 5 yo son. She said yes, we’ve been talking about it. I said oh goodie!! Then she got up and left the room. I thought I had hurt her feeling or brought up a touchy subject. But she walked back in and laid a sonogram picture in front of me and said ,”We’ve really talked a lot about it!” Baby due Dec 23, 2026!!! I get 2 new GREAT GRAND BABIES THIS YEAR!!!

And a mom to one fur baby Skeeter, a Chihuahua-Italian Greyhound mix. He’s ROTTEN!! He turned 14 11/19/25. I was my parents caregiver from 2016 to 2023. Mom passed away from Alzheimer’s 💜 September 9, 2019 and Dad passed from Parkinson’s 🧡 May 9, 2023. It was hard, but so glad we were able to keep them in their home up until the end. I miss them both so much.

The stress & work of caring for them did take a toll on my health. I developed A-Fib in 2018, both of my knees got bad with the lifting & high blood pressure. I had right knee replaced in 2023 & left in 2024. It’s good to walk without the pain but the heart problems make me tired & breathless real easy. But if I take it slow & take short break to catch my breath I’m fine. Hubby helps me with the housework, he’s too good! But stress is gone and I have my craft room. So I can go in there, turn on my Bluetooth speaker, find some great tunes on YouTube and craft away. Funny how 3 plus hours slip by so fast when you’re having fun. But I come out relaxed and satisfied that I have swaps made & ready to mail. Speaking of ready to mail! I have been taking my swaps to the post office just to get my postage right. The girl that WAS working there a couple months ago was awesome. She’d ooooo & aaahhhh over my envelopes and she’d put fun stamps on them. BUT the new lady that was there last time I went in just printed out the ugly white tag & slapped it on my pretty envelopes I worked so hard on. 😡 And then tossed them in a box. I told Hubby when I went back to the truck, “I’ve got to find my postal scale & get lots of stamps! I don’t like the gal working the counter!” I have been asking them to hand cancel my swaps the day I mail them too.

Things I love to do & things I collect.

I love sitting on our back patio watching the birds. Especially the hummingbirds. I’ve always loved being outside. I love feeling the sun on my skin and turning me brown. I have a fairly nice tan already. But the age spots are starting to show up. lol it stinks getting old. I love going for a pedicure every 3 weeks. I wear flip flops year round so gotta have that cute pedi. I love going shopping with my sisters, garage sales, hobby lobby, online shopping, Temu & out to eat occasionally. I love my collection of Consuelo bags! Just got my “Sophie Metro crossbody” delivered today.
I love collecting Pennies from Heaven. I have a jar I keep them & other coins in that I find. When I find them I say,”Thanks mom & dad, I love you too.” One day not long after dad passed we stopped at CVS to pick up a Rx. As I stepped out of the truck laying on the ground was 2 dimes and 2 pennies. As kids dad would tease us by telling us “you’re not worth a dime. Looks like I was that day. So I am always looking for coins as I walk across parking lots. I collect door wreaths & cute welcome signs & yard art. Pretty rocks & shells. Tiny Knick-knacks. And all sorts of crafting supplies 🤪. I’m a collector

I upload my swaps to be mailed to my Instagram account. deb_campbell04 look me up & send a friend request. It’s easier to put my pictures there than Flickr.

I will mail my swaps from my mailbox @the house if it is flat one stamp mail. If I feel like it is over one stamp I will take it & have postal clerk check & then mail from PO. RATINGS are important to all of us. You may get a message from me when I feel like it's been an ample amount of time to arrive to you. That way I can start on a resend if you have not received your swap. I try to rate as I open my swaps the day they arrive. If I haven't rated you, please contact me. It either means I got sidetracked or it hasn't arrived. I ask the same from you also.
