Yes, MD is on lockdown too, which even makes it difficult to get to the post office. It also gives me an excuse to stay indoors, so if it weren’t for my doggie, my mental heath would find a chance to deteriorate! Response: You are very welcome and that is quite a compliment! My original idea for your card was complicated; I thought I would hand-sew different scraps of fabric onto your card and just use the definition for sew (as a small cutout). I was already a few days late in sending though and that would've taken significantly more time so I'm so glad you like my second idea and the end result. :) The product I used to glue and seal the card is Liquitex matte gel medium, applied with a flat brush.

Response: Understood, thank you. We're leaving for a vacation tomorrow so it probably won't be until later this month or early August when I'm able to. Edit, November 8: I finally sent this swap on Friday, November 6 (two pictures of the two Zentangles I did that was my goal). Also included were pictures of four new 2015 custom framed works I completed this fall from my show at the library (one shot of the four together), six smaller newly completed fall 2015 works mixed in with others I did early this year, and a picture of an idea I have for another piece. For some reason I found it hard to get through and it took me a long time to read. Golden Son and Ready Player One are really good. I'm going to Comic Con this week and going to have Golden Son signed by Pierce Brown and Ready Player One signed by Ernest Cline. I can't wait!! :-)

I will be visiting D.C. in a week for a Lincoln commemoration and to see the cherry blossoms. And don't feel bad about not having many on your list. I am an avid reader, but also a slower reading and have a lot going on like you. =) I only had six on mine. I will have to check out some of these. I will definitely check out Red Rising, because I have been enjoying the Divergent series, and I have the Hunger game series but have not read it yet. Although I have seen the movies. Response: I am sorry for making you jealous. There are probably lots of libraries that are bigger and fancier than "mine" too. We do have a good selection though because anybody with a library card basically gets the selection of books from most of the libraries in the city. :) I don't know if I wrote this or not, but the site is clpgh.org; those are for the Carnegie main library and branches. There are other libraries that are part of our system that are not Carnegie libraries.

There's a book called The Plant Lover's Guide to Sedums that I requested from my local library; I'm hoping to learn more about them (and eventually purchase/grow more varieties since they're more or less cold hardy and don't require much care). The boards are by Ampersand and are called "stampbords" though I think I read somewhere that they are the same as their "claybords" just cut to smaller sizes. Comment: Well, first of, the ATC was not realy my cup of tea. I did not paticulary like it, nor exactly hate it.
However, lets forget about that and move to the positive things. I do apriciat the effort you put into it. Not to mention that you customised the card according to my profile. Also, the card was well sturdy and thick. Some might even say, too thick, but not me :-) Good job.
