I'm a huge fan of Black Widows, I believe they are the prettiest and most perfect looking spider. Too bad they are one of the most deadly. I love the paper cutting technique you used and having more than one in my series is exciting and will look fabulous in my set of 12. I would love to learn how to do this papercutting. You also did a Fabulous Job of picking background papers that would look dynamite coming through the areas of the cuts. It seems we are met to meet up and so I hope we continue to meet. Comment: Hello Linda, Oh yes, Linda, I get an ATC with a horse cut out like this everyday.(lol). It is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of the art of papercutting that is still done, but is coming more of a lost art. The craft robo machine cutter must be a lot of fun. Is there any other machine in the current craft world that your machine is similiar to now? I think I could have a lot of fun with it. I can't wait to add your ATC to my Chines Zodiac to my Chinese Zodiac ATC Series. Also, thank you for the beautiful card that you made. Comment: i absolutely love my atc. where did you get the pup image from?..did you design it? It's lovely. And the card....very special. thank you so much. And by the way, it was also pup-approved as my greyhound, Ivy, sniffed it and gave it a little kiss when i showed it to her.
Response: The pup image was a bit of both, an image of a racing greyhound from the internet which I then simplified to a couple of layers/colours and cut out of card. I bet your dog gave it a good sniff as no doubt it could smell my dogs. My dogs know if I have been patting another dog even if I have washed my clothes - great noses.
