Hello, I’m Meg and I've been penpalling and exchanging Mail Art & postcards for nearly 20 years now. I’m in my late 30’s and I live in the upper midwest next to Lake Superior. I have one daughter who just became a toddler (Oh my!!!) and two dogs (an Icelandic sheepdog & a Corgi). I'm an intersectional feminist and my spirituality is nature-based rather than religious.

I like spending time in the woods or at the lakeshore, scavenging thrift stores for weird knick knacks, visiting the library, rockhounding, birdwatching, and crafting (especially collaging mail art, though my craft goal this year is to start making zines & carving linocuts). I love learning about animals & plants, I do a bit of wild foraging & also every year my husband & I harvest Maple sap & we make our own syrup.

Any animal! Esp. canines (Dogs/wolves/foxes etc.) and birds (some faves are owls, herons & Corvids) -Airmail themes, old postage stamps -Cryptids -Cyanotypes -Ephemera -Folk art -Halloween -the Moon -Mythology (everything from fairies & gnomes to Werewolves, & yes ofc Mermaids & Selkies) -the Paranormal, ghost stories -Postcards(!) -Rocks (tell me about yr favorite, or local rocks) -Risograph prints, Screenprinted patches, Linoprints -Stickers -Tarot cards -Tea -Vintage things (postcards, photos, ephemera, etc, or even just vintage-inspired) -Washi tape -Woodland themes (toadstools, forest animals & plants) -Wetlands, rivers, lakes & ocean themes -Zines

I do keep an album of dog photographs, & would be honored to receive a photo of your dog (or your neighbor's dog, or heck even your mortal enemy's dog). Also, I adore vintage dog photos, although I realize that is a pretty niche item of course.

I do not care for themes that are patriotic or religious in nature. Same goes for Disney items & toxic positivity. Please save these things for someone who will enjoy them. :)
