Hello Terry, I received the iron on alphabet pattern book and stickers and tattoos today! Thank you so much! I am just learning to embroider, so this book will be great to practice with. ^♥^
wow, SB ate a piece of my comment......... after the Alice-rating-stuff I had written about the picture of where you live. I think it's a lovely place! such a nice picture, capturing a peaceful place....
hi TerryF! (I'm here for the profile-tag, in case you're wondering) what a lovely picture you have up there to start of your profile! My children are blessed with a father like that and it truly is a blessing.
I love Alice too, the look in her eyes when holding the bunny is priceless. I couldn't agree more with you on your rating philosophy, and maybe when I get to your age I would have the kahoones (?) to write it just as clearly as you do! It looks a bit like Europe, but with a twist. I'd love to get there someday, Canada, the USA, I've never been there...
When I read the part about your Christmasornaments I had to pause a bit! wow, 200 a year??? I'd love to see a picture of a tree decorated with those! that's some serious addiction.
Maybe someday we get to swap something handmade with each other, that would be nice!
thanks for having me over!
thanks for providing such a lovely picture of where you live, that's a beautiful place.
Thank you for your sweet comment on my profile! These are our first little rats and we're really enjoying them. They do make lovely little pets. I had to take one of our little girlies in to the vet recently (she had pneumonia, but has made a complete recovery, even with a very dire prognosis!). I had her in a little pink shoebox with holes cut in it so she could breathe. The other folks waiting with their dogs or cats asked what was in the box. When I showed them, they were all "Ohhhh...she's so cute!" Every one of the several people waiting said so. They were amazed at how gentle and sweet she was. I think people have seen too many movies with scary-type rats and think our rats are still the type that carry the plauge! Nothing could be further from the truth. Thank you for acknowledging how good they can be as pets. I do appreciate that very much.
I really like your tribute to good fathers. That picture gives me goosebumps, it's so sweet. I am very fortunate to have a good (great!) father. :)
I love your list of children's book authors and illustrators! We share several likes in common. Maisy Mouse is adorable, too. :)
HI!! Oh my goodness!!!! We think just alike!!!! The part of your profile that talks about late swappers (flakers) How funny is that! Love it!!! I love Eric Carle too! I remember when I was in college - reading to the kids in my class for my internship - Anywho..hope you have a wonderful weekend!! Teresa (comment tag game from the forum)
Terry, I got the 1972 needlecraft magazine. It's filled with lots of good info and I really got a kick out of looking at the kooky hairstyles and clothes of those years. They somehow didn't look that kooky when I wore them. :-). Thank you!!!
