Hiya! I'm Brian from Stillwater, Oklahoma. I'm an author and I have some poetry books available on Amazon if you're interested.
***** I HATE STAR WARS! *****
I'm a single guy living in rural Oklahoma, just a few miles from where I was raised. I moved back here from Alaska a few years ago.
There is no need to masculinize swaps for me. I'm not afraid of "girly" things.
:::My Shops:::
My Etsy Store
My RedBubble Store
My Fine Art America Store
My CafePress Store
I generally like any type of card you want to send, but I do have a few that I'm more into than others.
If you're picking something out DON'T SEND STAR WARS. I don't like it!
More stuff I like
Animals: Deer, Cicadas, Seahorses, Stag Beetles, Rabbits, Bison, Giraffes, Hedgehogs, Badgers, Foxes, Whales, Moose, Polar Bears, Thylacines, Platypuses, Kangaroos, Wombats, Birds, Tigers, Armadillos, Sloths, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Bats, Flying Foxes, Lemurs (Aye-Ayes especially), Butterflies, Moths.... I could go on. I really like animals. I'm really not into hunting or fishing themes please.
Birds (more specifically): Scissortail Flycatchers, Canada Geese, Woodpeckers, Cardinals, Pelicans, Hummingbirds, Kiwis, Ravens, Magpies, Blue Jays, Crows, Peacocks, Quetzals, Puffins, Owls, Swallows, Vultures, and so on...
Animals/People (Mythical): Unicorns, Pegasus, Jackalopes, Merfolk (Mermen specifically, but Mermaids are okay too), any interesting animal creations, fairies, gnomes, etc...
Colors: Yellow, Orange, Grey, Brown, White
Nature: Leaves, Rocks, Trees in Winter, Rain, Fog, Snow, Water, Soil, Flowers
People: Late 19th Century Photos, 1940s Illustrations, Weathered Faces, Drag Queens, Happy People, Street Photography, Sailors, Cowboys, Farmers, Stern Women, People who seems to have overcome a struggle, People who seem to have a story.
Places: Denmark, France, Alaska, Oklahoma, Iceland, Croatia, South Africa, Czech Republic, Australia, Kenya, Peru, Madagascar, Mexico, India, Azerbaijan, Israel, Argentina, and everywhere in between. I love learning about other places.
Other: I like anything to do with the Oz books (not a huge fan of MGM Oz stuff, but it's okay), old books, letters, circuses, tattoos, architecture, typography, and many many other things! I don't have a lot of cutesy in my life, but I have a little spot in my heart reserved for Sanrio. It secretly gives me a little joy.
Dislikes: disliking stuff. Unless it's Star Wars.
I'm a mixed media artist and I love creating art journals. It's tempting to make them big, but I prefer ones with only a few pages so they can represent a brief moment.
Painting, drawing, collage, assemblage, etc. I'll try just about anything once. I wish I was better with a sewing machine.
Authors I love: Frank O'Hara, Jim Grimsley, Frank O'Hara, Franz Kafka, L. Frank Baum, Billy Collins, Maya Angelou, Ray Bradbury, Jack London, Mark Twain, John Steinbeck, Timothy Egan, Ntozake Shange, Mark Owen, C.S. Lewis, Gideon Defoe

Happy Birthday!
I received your postcard today with your website on it. I checked it out. You seem like a really fun person! I look forward to more swaps with you.
LOL...I was just reading your profile, and saw that you liked Cicadas. They are so loud where I live that we can't sit on our back porch and hear ourselves talk.
missing u in swaps friend. hope lifes going ok
Hi! Thank you for the bonus postcard for "It's called fashion Brenda look it up"...And stamp! This was a fun swap, thank you for hosting! ☺
Brian! Thank you so much for the hand drawn merman! That was incredibly thoughtful of you.
I found the lenticular PCS at a store called Flying Tiger (or it could be Tyger, I forget). It is a store out of Denmark and it is sort of like this cool-designer style dollar store cheap stuff from China. But I couldn't resist postcards, notecards, tissue paper, ribbon, etc. I visited them in the Netherlands this summer and I looked at their website to see if they have stores here in the U.S. But I don't remember if they do or not because none in Colorado.
Vetting the Speedy Fall Leaves ATC! and stopped by... Hello!
