I enjoy reading, photography, creative writing, music, walking through cemeteries, traveling, strong coffee, and good chocolate. I love football season - go Steelers! I am married, with a 17 year old daughter and work fulltime for a lawyer, although I really don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
I really have a variety of interests. . .I am a jack of all trades, master of none. I like to learn and try new things - although I shy away from skydiving and bungie-jumping. :)
I have several pen pals and it seems like swapping seems like a compatible pasttime.
Some of my favorite things, in no particular order, are: coffee, beer (drinking and brewing), hiking, all things supernatural, dark colors, pizza, wild flowers, sunsets, church architecture and Celtic crosses (although I'm not really a religious person), mythology, philosophy, music, traveling, Scotland, Edgar Allen Poe, Sherlock Holmes, silver jewelry and bracelets.
I looked at the favorite books, music, etc. options. It's hard for me to list faves. . .music depends on my mood, but I love all types - from rock to classical to the occasional country. Some favorite artists include Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Chickenfoot, Elvis, The Who, Led Zeppelin and Joe Satriani.
I am never without a book. . .am currently reading a sci-fi series, but will read just about anything if it looks interesting. Some of my favorite books are "Breakfast of Champions" by Kurt Vonnegut, "Lady Chatterly's Lover" by D.H. Lawrence, "Jayne Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte, the Mist of Avalon series by Marion Zimmer Bradley, and most Arthurian literature.
I love warm weather and love being outside with my camera. Photography and writing are my artistic outlets, although the writing hasn't been very productive lately.
