Hello, Kat in the house. I'm a foodie and I love cooking and trying out new recipes. I like to watch movies and binge watch kdrama. Felix the cat is my favorite cartoon character. I like doing arts and crafts. I have dabbled with paper quilling and needle felting. I like to sew. In my spare time I like doing jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, going antique shopping, concerts, reading manga books and love to explore national parks and get my cancellation stamp! I enjoy 5D diamond painting.

I listen to all kinds of music - pop, rock, alternative, 80's, freestyle and christian music. Some of my favorites are : Bonjovi, Westlife, Skillet, Kutless, Simple Plan.

My favorite movie is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Studio Ghibli movies- Ponyo, The secret world of Arrietty, From up on Poppy Hill. Actors I like - Ben Mendelsohn, Damian Lewis. Shows include: Landman, Black mirror, Slow horses, Emily in Paris, Reacher, The diplomat. I've enjoyed : 1883, White collar, Life, MI-5, Nashville, Bloodline, Modern love,Grace and Frankie, Longmire, Black Sail, CB strike, Marco Polo, Poker face and Shut eye. Korean drama I liked: My love from a star, The heirs, Crash landing on you and Boys over flowers.

▪️Tea - love green, white and black tea. Favorites: Orange pekoe, Genimacha, Chai, Gyokuro, Jasmine green, Matcha, Oolong, Sencha, Pu-erh, Hojicha, Roobios, barley, soba, organic. Brands I drink: Harney & Sons, Fortnum & Mason, Tazo, Taylors of Harrogate. I prefer packaged tea bags (unopened) over loose leaf.

▪️Stickers- I have been collecting stickers since I was a little girl. I like shiny and/or clear stickers. Also like birthday, quotes, Felix the cat, alphabet, Chocokat, stars, sun, moon, galaxy, tea, teacups, turtles, mantee, bees, kawaii, vintage, stickiiclub, pipsticks, Japanese and Korean stickers, happy mail/ snail mail stickers, (Prefer not to get any tiny stickers or planner stickers)

▪️Animals- I love turtles. I love manatees. Both hold a special place in my heart.

▪️Paper napkins - anything colorful, neon, flowers, any unique ones to use in my junk journaling.

▪️Postcards- linen, landmarks, old maps, Greeting from(state), cartoon, recipes, FSU football, Mets, art themes, artist paintings, history related, NYC in the olden days, San Francisco, Bar Harbor/Maine, Boston, St. Augustine, Hawaii, Canada, turtles or any b & w photo postcards.

▪️Postage stamps from USA and different countries, used or unused. I have a lot of old stamps from collecting throughout the years. I love to see different kinds of postage stamps on my mail. I heart postage stamps and I heart mail.

▪️Maps - I collect subway maps here and abroad. I would like a Chicago or Pittsburg one.

▪️Collecting shark teeth and sea glass from beaches. Lived in Florida for a few years so this is my absolute favorite thing to do.

▪️Washi tape (masking tape). The real deal. Made of good quality. Japanese MT and Bande are my favorites. I do not like fake cheap ones that do not stick.

▪️Mail and mail art. I love old maps, snail mail and any travel ephemera. I like to decorate and make art on my envies.

▪️Love quotes on my envelopes or postcards. " A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others." -Salvador Dali

▪️Art journaling /junk journals- this has taken over my life right now! I am learning more about it everyday. I have starting drawing, doodling and writing. I enjoy learning more about mixed media and how to use gelli plates into my journals.

▪️Zines - I just started doing a few and I love it. I like a good quality one with drawings and the effort put into making it. It’s wonderful how one piece of paper can turn into something so beautiful.

I've gotten some amazing swaps from very kind and awesome people. I am grateful to have an outlet to show my creativity and have fun meeting people in the process. "In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you." (-Buddha). Please note that I like to recycle as much as possible. I make a lot of envies with clean paper bags, calendars, books, etc...so please don’t take offense if you get one. It’s important to recycle and as small as it may seem, I want to do my part. Happy swapping!
