Hi! I'm Bri, from a teeny town in North Carolina. Just a few hours west and I'm in the mountains, and a few hours east and I'm at the beach. I live with my husband (we met on a blind date) and my adorable Jack Russell/Dachshund pup named Tucker. We are happliy child-free, and enjoying it by adventuring to somewhere usually every weekend.

I have a growing collection of carnivorous plants that I adore. I have one mammoth of a pitcher plant that recently reached over 6 foot long! She stopped growing, so I had to give her a haircut and now she's thriving with pitchers as big as my hand. I also have sundews and venus fly traps. 🌱

I'd give a big toe to live in Halloweentown. Give me crunchy leaves, a crisp breeze, and some gloomy skies and I'll be a happy lil camper forever.

I work in industrial sales, so I am at different buildings and on different roofs nearly every day. It's pretty neat to see cities from sometimes 10+ stories up! And it's even neater to see "behind the scenes" at some of the biggest companies around. So if you ever get a random photo of a skyline from me, just know that it's probably taken from one of my customer's rooftops =)

Some things I love:

✿ stationery - particuarly fountain pens and inks, but I obsess about it all =)

✿ reading - horror, fantasy, and romance in that order

✿ motorcycles - my Yamaha MT07 is my baby

✿ nature - hiking, kayaking, and birdwatching

✿ travel - I love collecting little things from other places (and the stories that are attached them)

✿ learning - particularly about different spiritual practices, religions, & cultures

✿ bookbinding - I'm a newbie at it but it's so fun to make your own journals!

✿ pottery - not making it, just admiring it

I love a gloomy, sad read. Lately, I've been into apocalyptic horrors. But on the flipside, I love a good hockey or office romance too!
