Comment: Great zines, thank you!! OMG, the cat library cracked me up!! And the Halloween one is perfect - love the quotes and art. You'll have to share your secret to getting your zines so nicely printed and squared up so they don't end up with uneven edges, lol!! Thank you!
Response: Thanks Grace, I'm always nervous taking a whack at something the first time. My 'secret' is trying to make the first one folded as crisp as possible (score board). Then I try to decorate all the way to the edges. This kinda backfired on me for the cat library, because the copy machine adds a little margin all around that cut off my original signature. I had to pen it back in. I overlap the individual pages slightly so there's no white edges, and press the page all the way to the corner when I copy to ensure it's straight. That's it!

I've never seen a pinup like that. Thank you for noticing the alliteration of my name! Nobody ever notices that! It's one of the reasons I loved changing my name to my hub's. My maiden name was Parkinson, which doesn't trip off the tongue as well. ;) THANKS for a great swap. These will hang on my office wall and I'm thrilled :):)

Comment: OH MY GOSH!! You did a wonderful job. Mine was just a skull decorated and mounted on a canvas board (decorated of course). Mostly I feel inadequate compared to you. I signed up then chickened out doing what I wanted to do.
Response: I'm SO relieved you liked it, I messed up and mounted it a little too low and honestly he looked a little TOO gruesome at first. I added a collar and more fur to make him a little more spooky and less horrifying lol. Never feel inadequate it's always a delight to see different people trying different things! Response: Sadly the horse statement is true (but I still love riding). The luggage is in fact the lie but not TOO much of a stretch as we saw people using alpacas as their pack animals while in South America. Glad you had as much fun with it as I did!

I found out last week that Cora our asian was the elephant Charlotte in Smokey and the Bandit 2. She is now 60 years old. I like seeing all our animals except bugs and snakes. Friday morning the 4 Sumatran tiger cubs will be coming outside for the first time. We also have 2 giraffe calves born in July and August that I love to watch with their parents. You can see tigers and giraffes on youtube The channel is TopZooKTWU

Love the swap! :D I've never heared of Betrayal Legacy, just looked it up on boardgamegeek. I'm not a fan of horror and haunted houses :p Couple of weeks ago I got Pandemic on the brink expansion for my base game. Pandemic is my first cooperative boardgame and I like it! :) I also love to play Settlers of Catan, I have a lot of expansions for it :)
Response: So glad you enjoyed everything! Pandemic is fantastic and challenging, you might also be interested in the games Forbidden Island/Forbidden Desert/ Forbidden Sky which are all cooperative (no horror). Catan was my first foray into the world of boardgaming and I still love that game!
