Comment: This is a good reminder for me. I tend to always be busy (somehow) as well. It reminds me of Martha being busy in the kitchen while Mary was spending time with the Lord. I pray for both of us we would know what's truly important and take time to slow down. It's easiest to hear God when we are not going 100 miles a minute :) Love that picture too. How appropriate!

If only the clothing had been equally timeless in design and shape (since the colouring is simple and attractive when sepia-ized), this would create an even more effective 'vintage' feel. Comment: was the play dough from scratch? that's really fun! when i was young we would make edible play dough. of course, as an adult it's like, "ewww! eat some thing that a kid has beeing playing with!" :)
Response: Yes it was from scratch - I took pictures of the whole process. We added kool-Aid so it could smell nice too.
