Comment: Hi! I also sent a pc from Arlington Cemetery! Have you been? My son had gotten the pc for me and now I hope to visit when we go to DC next month - I am sure it is just an amazing sight! We live near a national cemertery here and it is amazing how many graves there are - there is talk that they are running out of room - yikes! The New Year has started great -hard to believe we are in the middle of the month already! Time flies when we are having fun - righ?! LOL! Thanks again for the very lovely share! Response: I loved the way the card came out. I used Slick Dimensional fabric paint, from Walmart. Thats all they had, didn't know if it would do the trick and it was great! Glad you liked it.

Response: Based on the details of the swap, it was senders choice, we could do anything we wanted to on the card. So it met the reqirements, you just didn't like what I sent you. Odd, I have made other post cards the same way and got rated 5's. And as I mentioned in my email to you, there was more to the card what happens during travel time through the post office is out of my control.

Comment: I really like what you did with the ATC, a very unique idea. The circles you punched almost look like handmade backgrounds, using metalic inks or alcohol inks, am I correct? Very nice and thank you so much!
Response: I am glad you like it. I had done the ink blot atc swap recently and I had some paper left over so I punched out the circles from that, the paint is just regular acrylic paint, which I dripped on paper and then folded the paper and made the blots, cool stuff.

Comment: Thx for the ATC - it is beautiful! However, the swap description said: "...on the back of your atc, along with your usual information, write a paragraph or maybe two (?) of what you see in your ink blot...not a list, but sort of a 'story' or description of what is happening in your "blot picture". Nothing long or elaborate, but just not a 'list'." there was no "story" of any kind on the back ATC. It seems to me that the paint blot in conjunction with the accompanying story on the back are what make this swap -and this ATC - unique. A little friendly advice: before packaging up a swap to mail, it might be a good idea to re-read the swap description one last time to make sure you haven't forgotten anything. I do this and have caught myself more then once about to send an incomplete - and once, a totally wrong - swap. lol It happens. (";)

I have not heard of Operation Write Home. It would be wonderful for you to host a swap making two cards....one for our partner and the other for our troop families. Just like we did on the ATC`s rose for Norway. Having a swap gives out many cards which is so wonderful. Sheryl~Ransom

Comment: Thank you for the card. I like how the leaves change in California. I used to live in Whittier, California. The weather and leaves don't change here. It's usually sunny but we do get occasional tropical showers.
Maui is a beautiful island. I like it there a lot.

We did get hit pretty hard by the storm and were without power for 5 days, but alas things are getting back to normal! Not to mention the earthquake aftershocks we felt.
