Comment: As always your zines are done so well and so fun to explore. I am so impressed you created one for the words from the first round. Thanks for sending me copies of each. I appreciate it! And I always seem to be able to relate to something you write. In this particular zine I could 100% relate about you and your brothers loving the food from the cafeteria. ME and my siblings felt the same way totally! We still talk about the yummy food after all these years.

Response: Thanks!! ❤️ I only use scissors, glue, pens, and cut paper (many images are from magazines or the internet). I just arrange everything on a piece of cardstock that I use to photocopy multiple times.

Response: We lived in Waldenbuch, Baden-Württemberg. Check out photos of the town - just gorgeous! And the Ritter Sport chocolate factory was there (best hot cocoa at the cafe, a huge store with so many flavors, and the town smelled like chocolate on warm days!!). And yes - I've been to Hawaii with my husband to visit his family :)

Great job on a very thorough collection of data. I love the abstract art that you created with all of the different variables and perfect squares with symbols and colors. This could definitely be put in a frame! The legend is very clever and so detailed, I enjoyed taking my time deciphering all of the symbols. Thanks so much for running this swap. I had never heard of this project before. I have been for years wanting to somehow integrate art with science, and this collecting of data and representing as information graphics is a neat aspect of that. I checked out the book from the library and it gave me a good idea of the myriad ways to represent observations. It has also made me more mindful during and after doing the swap. I want to continue to do this exercise!
