Interesting family tree item is that my grandpa on my mom's side was "adopted," but on the census in 1920 it had him listed as a servant. We spent years hunting for his biological family. My mom found them about five years ago. Although no bridges were built, they had heard of him. Tell your little girl that Martha Stewart's website has different things like this that are fun to make. Comment: Thank you! It looks like my surroundings are a bit similar to yours... I live on the edge of the Baltimore harbor and frequently see large ships, and there is an oil refinery across the way! The bridges are a little ways down, though. But I have never seen anyone fishing here...most people take their sailboats down to the bay for that. Your water must be cleaner :]
Response: LOL - sometimes it is clean and sometimes it is not. :) It is called the Sparkling City by the Sea, but there are times I think the town mayor mad for calling it that. I do like to go fishing though and we catch quite a few good fish. Sometimes people catch sharks, which is even more impressive.

My Father died of Kidney cancer back in 1985. It was the hardest thing I have gone through so far. It's so tough to lose a parent. My Mother is still living at 92. She is in a nursing home down in Georgia. I send her email and postcards, etc. every day. I grew up there in Georgia. I am glad your Father, son and nephew were not hurt seriously in the accident. Maybe I can do a bit of checking on your Greses ancestry. If you can, email me at
Jawcwarner@aol.com with where any of your Greses' were living (city and state) in 1930 and first names too. Most people start with grandparents and move backwards!
Response: I will get this information, it would be so fun to learn more. I have to talk to my in-laws and see if they have information. My mom and I researched my grandpa (he was given up as a servant" and think we found his real relatives. They knew of him, but thought he was a step-brother of some sort.
