Comment: I truly hate to rate you a 3, but under the circumstances, I feel 3 is justified. 1. This was sent out really late past the deadline of 30 August, on 23 September. In fact, it was already late when you marked it sent on 31 August. 2. No contact despite knowing it was already late. In future as the swap host for this series, I ask that you be sure to send on time and contact your partner/host if you encounter any issues. 3. Instructions were not followed. I would like to point out that this is a Zentangle inspired swap. Please refer to free, online resources to find out what Zentangle/tangles really are. If you had faced any issues you could have contacted me way before the timeline, like others have.
Response: I apologize. I deserve this three, it was well earned for the late send and I'm quite ashamed of myself. I should have contacted you and explained. I had so many other things going on in my life that I did not take time to attend to my Swap-Bot responsibilities as I should have. I also apologize for not Zentangling correctly? I did google Zentangles to find inspiration but they weren't official? Anyway, thank you for letting me know that it arrived and I apologize again for the late send and the lack of communication.

Comment: I spent waaaaay too long trying to open the envelope you sent. A little embarrassed that I thought "I open at the close" was a hint how to open the envelope and didn't realize it was part of the book page. Anyways, the ATC's were great. I love the Jebs you drew. :D I would love to swap again sometime, and tell you the long story of the Jeb.

Comment: Michelle--I will send you a photo in the next day or two of how your little swap arrived. It was at the bottom of my mailbox today in four soggy pieces. Happily the ATC was dry in its cover, and your note, though in pieces, was stuck inside the envelope bits, and should be separable/readable when it dries. I love the penguin card you did--can't wait to display it with my other bird ATCs. All the little touches are so lovely--the vintage penguin image, snowflake paper, the Latin name, the charming English name stamp. Thank you so much! Sorry the post office here in Blizzardlandia was so rough.
Response: Oh my goodness!!! I have seen the USPS be rough with mail before but dang!!! Dropping it in the snow and stomping on it?!? How lucky that the ATC made it through though. I guess this is a PSA for those little plastic baggies!! I'm glad that you like it. I don't think the note was that important, just babbling about how I like book page ATCs and the Latin names for things. :-) fingers crossed that this was your one bad USPS experience for the year!!

I know what you mean about missing the idea of snow...I was from Indiana and now Florida. And yes!! I'd love to do a Paris ATC with you :-)
Response: Oh no! I was afraid of that!! Your first thought was probably, "well, THIS is a CRAPPY atc" lol. I'm glad you liked it once it was open though. =) I want to set up a series of swaps for European Capitals, hopefully that will assuage my wanderlust! It will probably be after the new year, but please keep an eye out for them.

Comment: Love, Love, Love, the flower , you are the only one so far, who has given me a pressed flower. Years ago I had the opportunity to accompany my husband on a business trip to Hawaii. Beautiful Island, I’ll never trade this card because it reminds me of my time there with him. He has since passed away and that’s why I’ll never trade THS card – Thank You for a lovely ATC’s that reminds me of a sweet memory :-)

Comment: Very cool, I never would have thought to use yoga mat. (Mine were stamped acetate, probably go up on ig after I get rated for them). I particularly like the ribbon, it will be used. I do prefer not to recieve mail art, I feel bad tossing it, so I keep it and don't do anything with it (though I just started a mail art atc series, the first one seemed to go well so I will try more). I am glad my profile was inspiring, I read some profiles and there is nothing there, or I like everything. And it's like, well that doesn't help me figure out what to make. : )
