Hi everyone! I'm Maddie, a tree-hugger and people person extraordinaire, but most importantly, a dog mom to my girl Moon! I'm currently working as a Childrens Librarian and a barista, so I do it all! I love anything outside (hiking, backpacking, kayaking, camping etc.), especially with my dog and partner. Other than the outdoors, I love to read, I love coffee, beer, live music+concerts, farmers markets, thrifting, and more! My favorite color is green, my favorite season is summer, I love the sun and anything green, and am generally in love with nature! I've been a vegetarian for over 15 years, drive a Prius, and do all things in the sake of sustainability. I'm new here, but I'm so excited to be swapping with everyone!

I love anything fiber crafts: crocheting, knitting, and I'm learning to sew! I also love anything paper-craft: journaling, junk-journaling, scapbooking, zine-making, oh my! I love natural crafts as well: nature collages, watercolors, weaving, bug hotels, etc.

I am an avid reader, but my favorites are Our Town (technically a play, but who's gonna correct me!), Fahrenheit 451, The Four Agreements, The Lord of the Rings series and the Hobbit, The Secret Garden, Jane Eyre, Of Mice and Men, Little Women, Better Than the Movies, and The Secret History. Recently I've been binging John Steinbeck novels, and LOVE his work.

I listen to anything but my favorite genres are definitely indie/indie rock, folk, indie folk, alternative, pop punk, and experimental rock. My all-time favorite artists are Amy Winehouse, Willow, Field Medic, Led Zeppelin, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Nick Shoulders, Radiohead, and Indigo De Souza to name a few. I love music recs!
