People often ask me, blue tea is an intermediate between black tea and green tea (coming from Fujian province apparently) and the leaves have undergone a short oxidation which make the water (of the tea) look blue ! I'm trying to knock out all of my gen. ed. stuff and then transfer, so I study voice with a private teacher. I'm not rushing anything, because I'd like to be stable in my technique before transferring. I plan on staying about two more years, but I'm not sure yet. So cool how you play in a symphony orchestra. I looked you guys up and watched the overture for Barber of Seville. You guys are great! Did you just do the overture to WSS or the whole musical? Challenging music, but it's so beautiful. Bernstein was an absolute genius!!! What else are you working on? I'm not currently working on any operas, but there are a couple of arias I'm working on at the moment. "Prendi per me sei libero" from "L'elsir d'amore" by Donizetti and "Donde lieta usci" from La Boheme. I'm sure you know who wrote that ;-) I keep my voice "in-shape" by singing everyday, usually, but not over doing it. Even if I don't work on any of the music I'm studying, I always find some time in the day to fit in some vocalizing or exercises. I haven't had any recent meetups with my snail mail society; not since January, and we probably won't be having any soon with all of this corona virus stuff going on. Maybe in the summer? Yes, being in a snail mail society is very fun. It's usually every other month that we meet up for about two hours, write letters, make mail art, and chat. I love it. You should definitely look into signing up for Postcrossing! It's a very cool concept and I've met a lot of lovely people there. LOL Diamond painting is, in a way, simialr to cross-stitch, but with plastic beads or "diamonds". You place these sparkly "diamonds" onto the pattern printed on a canvas and it creates a very sparkly picture! It's a very tedious process, but the results can be really beautiful. I saw the Downton Abbey movie in theaters several months ago. How did you like it? I thought it was great. Your grandma only lives about 2 hours from me- how funny is that?? What a small world!
