Comment: Thank you so much for the beautifull postcard from Dirty Beasts from Roald Dahl. I loved his books too, one of my favorites was The Big friendly giant. So happy this card finally arrived after 4 months of traveling.
Comment: Yay! This took 91 days to reach me! OMG. I got your envelope today - thank you for the pretty postcards. I hope you are doing well and you and your family are safe and healthy. Take care!
Comment: Thank you so much for the card and for sharing where you would love to travel. Sorry to be a bit slow rating. Just today I got someone to go to my post office box and pick up mail.
Comment: Thank you for such a cool card! Sorry it took so long to rate, I went on a short trip to my hometown and because of the virus, had to stay there longer than intended.
Comment: I love the Totoro postcard and so does my daughter! Thank you! I think it's the only image I've seen that rethought the style of headphones to work anatomically with animal ears! It's so cool. Thank you 💖
Comment: Thanks for the cute PC.
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. It says "Happy Holidays" but the poor little bird doesn't look happy at all. I often wonder what people are thinking as they drawer some things.
Comment: Thank you for the PC's - your envelope took about a month to arrive, but so glad it did! I like the Star Wars and Supergirl stickers, thank you. The cat monument is interesting - and I had to laugh to see McDonald's in the background! My husband has been to Amsterdam, I'll have to show this card to him! I hope all is well with you and that you and your family are safe and healthy! Take care!
Comment: Thanks for the photos especially the one with the kitten. I enjoyed the picture that you drew as well. Good on you for sending it in your photo collection. Keep drawing.
Comment: I’ve been doing some online gaming myself lately and a lot of ps4 ...way too much time on my hands and I’m usually an introvert but have little things I try to do daily that I’m no longer able to do so I feel like I’m going to go crazy with boredom
Comment: I couldn't pick a fave! Your entertainment area is beautiful! The park was gorgeous! And the sunrise took my breath away! Thank you for sharing!
Comment: Thank you so much! That's great that you work from all the time so it hasn't become burdensome for you. So many people never stay home so this very hard for them.
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: Thanks for sharing! I read an article that said we normal people only used less than 10% of our brain. Imagine if we use our brain to the fullest!
Comment: Thanks for playing in round 10 of the LQ game! Glad you’re grateful to not be employed by a typical company. I think you’re very fortunate to have the convenience of telecommuting!
Comment: Thanks for the fun swap. The brain is certainly an amazing part of the body. It is, I believe, capable of so many things, if only we knew how to turn it on.
Comment: I had to look up who Sappho was in history - sounds like she’d definitely be a worthwhile person to converse with! Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this round of Loaded Questions!
Comment: Thank you for putting so much effort into looking up the timeframe for the swap since your school system differs from the one in the USA! I’m with you on that 2010 playlist though - and the Gorillaz never go out of style for me!
Comment: ▂▃▅▇█▓▒░۩۞۩ Thank You ۩۞۩░▒▓█▇▅▃▂ Eunice for the *˛˚ღ •˚ 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 ~♥~˚ ✰* ★ National Crayon Day profile decorations! I 🅻🅾🆅🅴 them! You never disappoint!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard of the Red Square in Malacca. I have seen the Christ Church before but not with the whole Square showing. That would be an awesome place to visit. Thank you for joining my Swap!
Comment: Just got your card today. I love it. Thank you so much. I hope you're staying safe with all of this Corona virus stuff. Our state is under a mandatory quarantine for another two weeks; until April 7th.
Comment: Hi Eunice, thank you so much for the "Invisible Man 1946" penquin book cover.Love the green :) Pretty postage stamp also. Very nice H.G.Wells quote about the common man...I agree with him ...Happy Spring swapping. Take very good care, be safe. peace love light
Comment: Thank you for the deco. Love the Tom & Jerry one. My mom used to put that show on the TV for me to watch all day long so she could her chores without me interrupting. Ah, memories.
Comment: I absolutely love bookstagrammer's book flat lays. Unfortunately i couldn't find any with the right size. Glad you found some for my board. Thank you :)
Comment: Aww thank you for the owl - they are up there with my favourite birds as well! I'm healthy, and so is my family - I hope you are doing well too! Warm wishes, stay healthy and safe! Sophie
Comment: Hi Eunice! Thank you for the Butterfly and rose postcard. Wow, it took a long time to get here! I'm glad it finally made it <3 Can you tell me what RPG is? I don't think I've heard the term. How many instruments do you play? We are no longer able to swim in our community pool or at the beaches. They have been closed due to Corona Virus :^( I hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy. :-)
Comment: Ahlan eunice how are you doing ?... thank you for your postcard and for the information about my name 🙄... i can't believe that salah means wrong.. in arabic it means goodness, ... thanka again😊
Comment: Thank you for the B&W PC.So sorry. But sadly, I don't know who Primo Michele Levi is. I can't get into books like his. I am a Science Fiction book lover. But still, thank you for the PC, again.
Comment: Thank you for the two lists. I like the name of the private Spotify playlist you mentioned! Your list made me discover a Sara Bareilles cover of "She Used to Be Mine" which was a nice discovery.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard, Eunice! Your comment about the asymmetrical tiles made me chuckle! The flowery stamps are wonderful! Have a great weekend! Michelle in NM
Comment: Thanks for the letter and postcards!
Working with children with special needs sounds especially challenging but very rewarding. Good luck on your cosplays this year!
Comment: Labour is visible love...wish it could always be like that...the ultimate job! Thank you for the nice card of Khalil Gibran. Didn’t know the person, but did heard of his book ‘the prophet’.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful lady! I love My Fair Lady...and indeed musicals. We’ve been to Broadway last year, and we saw Chicago, the longest running one on Broadway ❤️
Comment: Thank you for the very idyllic postcard! It made it here just fine 😊 The book does sound interesting, especially with that opening! It honestly got me curious. I hope you're enjoying reading it!
Comment: Loved your photos! and your amazing selfie! I like skulls too. and also couldnt just choose one photo! my husband and i are "romantic" with each other like you too hahaha
Comment: Hey Eunice, thanks for sharing part of your journey with me.
I used to wear contact lens all the time in my 20s, but now my eyes get dry very easily so i stopped using them anymore.
I love the picture you drew of yourself. Its nice to put a face to someone we swap a lot with. I had my little sister draw one for me too a few weeks ago. I'll add the image on your comment like we do on profile deco swaps.
Comment: Thank you for the photograph of Wyndham Lewis. I'm not familiar with him, so I checked him out. Well, one of his paintings I like and now on the avatar on my profile page. I appreciate the extra note card with envelope, and stickers.
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter. I don't mind length at all, I just love to hear everyone's stories and their experience with MH. I also appreciate when they listen mine too :) I hope today is a good day!
Comment: I love reading about your good things that happened and also I think you're art is awesome (though I have to say - I loved the pic of the girl MUCH more than the one with the hat and the lipstick ... that one isn't my type of art at all. lol) I'm not saying it wasn't good because it was, but it just kind of gave me the creeps. Ha! Ha! (No insults intended ... honest!) (Hugs)
P.S. I'm so happy that you got a new client, that's awesome!
Comment: Yes, some of the facts did surprise me for sure. Like you, I love learning new trivia/facts like this! You chose well (thank you!) Also believe it or not, here's a fact also ... of the 25 trivia facts you sent, two of them were the ones I also chose (what are the chances of THAT happening? lol)
I too had used the Play-doh and the bacon one in the swap to my partner! (Funny, huh?!) I mean, of ALL of the millions or more of facts that we'd come up with 2 that we both shared, chances of that happening I would say aren't that great. lol Thanks for the great facts you sent!
Comment: Wow! I love the cute photographs you put in your email! <3
I live in the UK, and have travelled to many places in Europe (France, Belguim, Austria, Germany etc) so if you ever decide to visit, I'll tell you the best places to go !!
Your dream vacation sounded amazing! So much detail included :)
Comment: I love your email! I'm mentally adding it to my dream trip list. Love the postcard gathering opportunity. I'm also a fan of libraries, museums, historical markers, and non fiction over fiction. Even the fiction I read tends to be historical 😄. And I also work an ungodly amount. I work for myself as a housecleaner in a beach town, so work is abundant and I try to stay thankful when I'm working a 14 hr day. And I have a few more weekend days in the winter, but from May through September I work almost every day, so I feel you so much.
This weekend I just happened to have both days off! And my birthday was yesterday! So I'm very, very, very, grateful 😁
Nice to meet you!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard and for explaining a tiny aspect of Malaysia. The rickshaws. (Sometimes, I have to do the same. Explain tiny differences within Canada, usually between Vancouver and Toronto.) I enjoy learning about the diversity in a country. Have a wonderful weekend! =) Until the next swap.
Comment: I wasn't as thorough with mine tbh I forgot to mention the population and political system details and other kind of statistics. Pictures from inside shops were interesting. Finnish is a melting pot, not the country itself so much as it's big but with less people and more people died last year than there was born. Read your email when I got it, gmail just wasn't showing it to me I guess it must've been in the bin or something. Take care.
Comment: Okay, so I got your email yesterday but I didn't want to read it until I had had the time to answer the questions myself first - to avoid my answers being swayed by someone else's. So I vowed to answer all the questions first in a document, and then open the emails for this swap. And now that I've sent mine and read yours... I'm literally laughing out loud at how similar some of our answers were and I feel like I have to point out that I answered before ever reading yours, because I bet that's gonna he pretty hard to believe 😂😂😂
Comment: Hi Eunice! My sister loves sweet potato fries, but I myself have never tried them. I once made a salad with roasted chickpeas and sweet potatoes, but it was just alright. I guess I'll stick to "regular" fries!
Comment: Thanks for your sharing of the photos.
I have never read the book , the little prince , so maybe I could. Thanks for including the art work . I just adore art work with bright colors so I liked the art work that you picked.
Good choice.
Happy swapping to you,
karen (kasa).
Comment: Geez, that Snoopy dog...lol. So cute! Penguin with a heart is adorable! Hedgehogs are so cute, not sure I’d want to meet up with one though. Thanks for decorating my profile with those cute animals!
Comment: Thank you so much for the Black easter or Faust postcard. It's quite interesting really. I didn't dislike it. Hah, BONUS! Thanks and happy swapping. Xx Nina
Comment: Apa khabar? :) Hi Eunice, I enjoyed your card of Malaysian breakfast! This one is special because i am planning to visit Kuala Lumpur this year!! I will try that breakfast when I visit. Thanks so much!!
Comment: Kuluu looks adorable and friendly and Kittie would be my personality in real life 😂 They are all cute! Thanks for sharing and have a nice day!
Comment: Hello Eunice - give Kuluu and Kittie some extra scratches, pets and hugs from me and my Grandpa Kitty Carter - he turned the big 2-0 last week! Meow meow :)
Comment: Thank you for your email with well filled out answers/thought about 2020. Good luck on all of your resolutions and with the proposal :D And congrats on starting your business. I hope things will work out so that you don't have to work so ridiculously much and can take some time off to relax.
Comment: Thanks a lot for your wonderful email, I enjoyed reading it :) I know how bad PCOS is :( I have "just" insulin resistance, which is usually together with PCOS, but I don't have PCOS. I also gained a lot even I had a look at a roll.
Comment: Thank you Eunice! I've loved every single song and discovered some new artists as well as meet up with "old friends". For sure I'll come back to your playlist and will add some to my spotify ❤️
Comment: Thank you! Seems like we have a somewhat similar music taste, but I don't know a lot of the artists you listed. It'll be fun to check their other songs as well! It's fun to see others who like Hadestown too!
Comment: Eunice, I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your email ... thank you so much (I say thank you because I loved it so much, I considered it a gift!) We share two of the same goals (the first two!) and I too probably should work on the 3rd goal you listed as well.
Comment: Thank you for sending your list of thing you like to do. I see now I forgot to write two of them on my own list: reading and writing. I hope you get something published someday :) I also had a GameBoy as a kid, I miss playing SupeMario on it :)
Comment: Eunice, thank you so much for the great answers (I loved reading what you wrote!) Oh yeah, just to let ya know - I was able to see the postcard and had never seen any pictures from Malaysia before and from looking at the postcard, I can see it's lovely there!
Comment: I very much enjoyed reading your answers to the questions for this swap. I will reply with mine when I answer them. Your cosplay costume was awesome!
Comment: Thank you for sharing such an interesting and total explanation of Solitude. I feel the same way in so many ways. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
