Comment: Funny story: I opened the card and found the butterfly in two pieces with a broken rubberband, and my immediate thought was, "Oh, thank goodness!" lol The same thing happened with the one I sent to my partner. :) And, yes, I had to make a couple and use a lot of trial and error to get one to kinda sorta work. I had a lot of fun with this swap, though, and I love your butterfly! The colors are so pretty. I'm going to replace the rubberband and have fun with it. Thank you for all the work you put into this, for the pretty butterfly, and for the cute stickers, too!
Response: Oh bummer the elastic broke! The ones I received were duds too. I can get the butterflies to flutter a bit on the table but not actually fly. I’m convinced the ones in videos online are fake. LOLOL Oh well! It was a fun experiment. 😊

Response: Yes, I used a gelli plate to make most of the papers for the flowers. They are too much fun! Carving stamps is fun too and pretty cheap to try with dollar store erasers and a Speedball carving tool set. Thanks for the heart.

Comment: Hey Amanda! As I was walking across the street to check for mail I said to my son 'I think we're safe from any more wintery storms now. And there was your envelope of spotty goodness! And so you feel pretty safe from winter now too. Must be time to dig out the flower pots and lawn chairs, yay! I think it's so sweet that your hubs wants to create a garden for you. I've been planting any and all perrenials I could scrounge, trade or obtain in ways both underhanded(from abandoned houses) and aboveboard, sales mosty. Once they are planted it's up to them to survive. Once I see they can survive I will get more. LOL I haven't even written about the swap yet! I loooove the googly eyed chicken best, of course! so perfectly hilarious and cute, they all are, the giraffe and all the glasses wearing cuties. Oh ,and you lovely flower creations, so sweet. Response: There are two brands that make a lot of the sticker puzzle books. One is Sticker Mosaics and the other is Paint by Sticker. Comment: Wow! This is the fastest moving deco I have ever seen. I will be happy to mail it home. Stickii is lots of fun. If you sign up for email notifications they do put past monthly packs on sale for half off from time to time. If you do get into Stickii, they come with an A5 sized reusable holder. It is pretty easy to find an A5 sized binder on Amazon, Aliexpress etc.

Response: Hi Emma! I decided to use an old cereal box as the cover. I have lots of waxed linen thread for bookmaking, so I bound it with that. And then glued on a piece of scrapbook paper. Hilarious that you thought it was wallpaper. It’s so thin that I keep accidentally cutting up two pieces instead of one and then I’m mad at myself for wasting paper. I’ve been using my paper cutter and putting the paper in while it’s still attached to the pad. 😂😂

Most of our Spring flowers have already shriveled away and the heat is cranking up (which is OK because apparently the virus doesn't like the heat). We have to enjoy what we can while it lasts. ⛅️🌼🌈
Response: The bear is a new stencil from Stencil Girl! I love bears and had to have it, along with some cute new imaginary whimsical creatures and sea monster stencils they came out with. They are all really fun! And I did a dangling birds swap earlier this spring that I enjoyed so I figured I’d spoil you guys by making a few more in a card version! 😁 We’re onto the daffodil part of spring flowers. Tulips are next, my fave!

Comment: Love this!!! Thanks so much! I do aerial yoga too and want to get into lyra and some acro fire acts eventually! My poi are LED helix poi so you can take them out of the cases and attach micro lights to them to dance with! So much fun!! I'm sure I could learn a million things from you! I definitely want to get into the levitation wand someday too!
Response: I'm not familiar with the Helix brand, but that sounds fun! I have the LED Pod Poi by Flow Toys. Flow toys are so fun to dance with!

Response: Aww, thanks. You're welcome! Hope you caught the "easter egg" on the ATC. The background paper/painted text still revealed the words "soaring overhead" and so I tried to keep the owl below that when I glued it on, because it was so perfect! :-)

Response: Ha! Not that my swap-bot name is bad, but it doesn't mean anything to me and my husband doesn't remember why he picked it. hahahaha I am usually HooperGirl or Commanda on websites, so it's random, but you're right that it's short and easy, I guess! :-)

Did you use real leaves? I tried once and it was no bueno, lol. Thank you too for the lucky cat page - that's going in the file for my next Favorite Things gluebook. 🤗💖
Response: You're welcome! Yes that is a woodgrain tool that I got after seeing it in a surface textures ideas book. I love it SO much. I can't wait to get out my gelli plates and use it again on there. Yes those are real leaves I can't stop collecting them every fall and pressing them in big books. I don't know if you are already doing this, but it helps to do vein side toward the gel plate. I think I forgot to tell you this--deli paper is really fun to collage with. I love how it melts into the background. I use the matte side up.
