Comment: Unfortunately, Mod Podge doesn't work as a top coat and all the pages were stuck together. I gave you a heart because you obviously worked hard on this and spent time on it. You need to use either acrylic gel, acrylic medium or acrylic varnish for a top coat as they are water proof. Because it's a hot, humid summer, Mod Podge really does hateful things when it's used as a topcoat! It does make wonderful glue, though. I hope that you continue to do swaps and enjoy them!!

Comment: I LOVE the earrings!! Both pairs are so unique. The little crocheted pumpkins -- I love miniature things and what a tiny crochet hook you must have! Very clever, I'm sure I will get lots of comments on them when I wear them. The brass leaf earrings are so elegant and lovely for fall. Thank you for the wonderful mail day. These both are very, very cool! Yay for an awesome package.

I was a little bit worried because it was such a tiny little package (2 prs earrings don't take up much room!) and I didn't know if you would be familiar enough with needlework to know that even thought the pumpkins are tiny, they take a lot of work, simply because they are so small! Comment: Oh My Goodness the most glorious little amigurumi arrived in today's mail. I already have her hanging on my mermaid wall (will send you a pic over the weekend). She is gorgeous! Lovely green scales, rockin' purple dreads, lots of cool details like seahorse beads and pink eyelashes. She is just amazing. I give you 1000 extra hearts! I wanted to know what a amigurumi was and now I need look no further -- I can't imagine ever getting a nicer one. Thank's for the most delightful private swap! <3<3<3<3<3
Response: She was so tricky to make, too! That was my first time with an ami pattern where you increase and decrease to make the neck/arms/body rather than make separate parts and sew together at the end! I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I did like the result and will try it again!

Oh, it was thoughtful of Miss Ami to pack a dainty bag of unicorn food, full of stars and crystals and other goodies for infant cryoequines! And of course after Peri ate she was sleepy, so she was tucked up in her very own soft blanket in her new mother's arms. "Please tell Miss Ami that I LOVE Peri," the girl whispered, her eyes dancing as she stroked her new pet's mane, "and I want to send her a unicorn ATC to say thank you!" The girl's mother was able to appreciate the thought and work and craftswomanship that had gone into the lovely crocheting - the charms sewn into the collar - the dainty stamping on the feed back - and the little card (that just happens to match the theme of the girl's bedroom and will be framed with the other hand-made original fantasy artworks! In fact, it's going above Bandeau's unicorn print - Kat claims that 'it's a picture of Peri's mommy!') with its lovely introduction which touched both mother and daughter's hearts. They wish they could give a four-star (four-heart?) rating for this wonderful swap, and are happy that they can instead tuck a few more goodies of appreciation into the return bag that is going off overseas on Monday... XOXOXO from two happy unicorn-carers!

Comment: The swap finally arrived! The envie got damaged in transit and it arrived shrouded in Canada Post plastic, which probably explains the delay. But things seemed to be intact, and I already used some of the paper circles in my marathon crafting session last night! Thank you, I really LOVE some of the paper choices!!!
Response: OMG, an envie of circles??? How in the world did they manage to mangle that? I have had very bad luck with post office lately. I think they might all have been overseas, to Canada. I've had 3 swaps get damaged in transit. I'm taping more now, so hopefully, that will help. God help my next partner, she may not be able to get into the package at all!

Response: Better hide him up high! Dogs like to eat my amis because some of them have the scent from my hand lotion on them (orange) and others have a bit of wool in them! My dog has eaten a couple of them! I think yours is cotton, but still, nicely chewy! I'm glad you liked it!

I loved the darling little purple outfit (is that crocheted?), of course, and we both enjoyed sorting through the other lovely pieces of clothing, but after she saw the doll she had eyes for nothing else. She immediately named her "Queen Bella" (as we have plenty of princesses, several princes, and one King ('Derek', I believe) but so far no doll regal enough in costume and bearing to justify being the Queen mother to all those princesses! Response: I'm so glad you liked everything. That tote bag was my original pattern and design as are the candlesticks, so nobody else will have one like it. Even the applique and doves, I drew myself.

Response: I'm so glad you can wear the anklet. I saw on your profile that you can't wear any metal jewelry, so I thought probably just glass beads and all-cotton crochet might work for you. Let me know if you'd like a necklace or something else made like that.

Comment: I'm so glad I didn't have to send you a comment! I shaved my unicorns to give them that "macho" look, so I would have had trouble with that yarn requirement.
