Brown paper packages tied up with string, something something favourites you have brightened my day by an astronomical amount. Thank you so much! I've never had a cup cosy before, and this scarf is incredible, I could gush all day but seriously just thank you and I wish you as much happiness and good fortune as you can possibly pack into your life.
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything. It was a bit of a trusting moment for me and my daughter, lol... I've been in hospital for a time and she put together your parcel, sending me photos on facebook. I was super worried it had gotten lost in the 18km's between your place and mine, the tracking number showed nothing for days.

Comment: I almost cried when I opened your package. The little card on the top with the shiba inu looks just like my dog I had for 11 years, Dixie. But she would have killed me if I had tried to put her in a cute outfit. The envelopes are so unique. I have sumi ink, I have chinese paint brushes but I have not sat down to even try. I'm quite impressed with your brush strokes. I love those pelicans and living in Kansas (wheatfield country, the wheat was a nice touch. Thanks for the cute stickers as well.

Comment: Thank you so much for the recipes and tea bags. I'd never heard of sumac as a seasoning. Over here when you hear Sumac you think of poison sumac..kinda like poison ivy. I never knew it was a spice in other countries. Wow! I had to look it up and found out that the substitute for it here is lemon pepper, or as close to it as you can get. :)

Comment: Well your letter inside explains why the post stamps were from Asia yet your address is in Australia, I would love to see Asia. The Christmas card is beautiful, I love it. The envelope got into a fight with one of the machines at the post office, pretty beat up, and it was put in the bag from Canada Post with an apology, but Santa in all his glitter survived 😀😀😀

I visited Australia with a group of students back in 2002, and we heard about the Aussies love of giant things. I don't think we ever got to see one of them in person, at least I don't remember it. I did love what I did see, and would return in a heartbeat to explore more of your amazing country! Thanks!

UPDATE 13th November. The rater hasn't been online since we last spoke. I have offered to have a local artist - to her in the states, make a Karken ATC and to pay for it to be delivered via trackable mail. As she hasn't been online I am unsure if this is a suitable solution. Unfortunately tracking international mail is very expensive and after having already spent hours making the cards and two shipping costs already I'm just not willing to risk it getting lost again.
