Every gorgeous detail is perfection, from the pink and grey (pretending to spell this appropriately, and not Americanize it!) feathers in Marie's headdress, to the beautiful pink and grey embellishments. Even the beautiful Galah on your card is beautiful shades of pink and grey! I think Australia has some of the most beautiful flowers and creatures in the world...as well as some of the most terrifying! Comment: Well, I know what you said...but I love these! Quite honestly, they are actually a better size for my smaller journals. I really had a difficult time with mine...the molding paste kept slipping under the stencil, making a mess. I had to make so many, just to end up with a few! I love the ones you made for me...and I also love the sweet extras you always send!

Comment: How I love this homage to the City of Love...or is it the City of Lights? The most beautiful city in the world, according to my daughter, who is planning to move there. And Marie Antoinette taking center stage, as she certainly did in life. Before her head was cruelly removed from her body. I laughed at your story about your dad coming home after WWII and leaving your mum with 5 children under 7 so he could work with the shearers. He probably took that job so he could escape the 5 children seasonally! Men!

Comment: Oh, stunning! Such sweet girls with their little doggo in the snow...I often wonder what you "down under" must think while creating little artworks with snow and with people bundled up in coats and such, while you are in the middle of summer!
Response: I love doing these. For a start we don’t get snow in Sydney, so it’s a thing I like to dream of. I’m not sure if I had to actually live in the snow if I’d love it, but it’s just so pretty whilst it’s falling and just fresh. I’ve only been in a snowfall twice in my life 😝 and it was so fun. The only time I struggle with the seasonal swaps is when you have to do say January/Winter, For me it’s so hot then and it’s our bbq/ beach time. ❤️💕

Comment: Hi Ros! I've been so lucky to receive several of your ATC's recently. I LOVE this reindeer resting beneath the beautifully decorated tree. We have a large backyard with 3 huge shade trees that backs up against some woods. In the summer, the deer will come and lay in the shade of those trees. This ATC brought that to life for me! Many thanks, my friend, for another wonderful ATC!

Around our house, the most prevalent are the mourning doves, whose calls I love! In the cities, there are pigeons (big doves) that wobble around between the people. Comment: I love birds so much and these beautiful little works of art are so great! That’s right, so many beautiful birds come from Australia. I’ve had many budgies during my childhood and as an adult. Can’t imagine how cool it would be to have a magpie or lorikeets. My daughter and I spend many fun hours at the San Diego Zoo feeding the lorikeets. I have also had the privilege of owning a lot of pet birds including a Moluccan cockatoo and cockatiels. Thank you for the fun swap!

Comment: First of all loved that they had written on the envelope-"evidence of postage" where the stamps would be-actually there was a tiny piece of a stamp corner. Loved your sweet little girl book page ATC. Love the neutral of most of it then a pop of color in the background. Thanks also for the extra bits! We are in the middle of a two day blizzard that is dumping about 10 inches when its done. I have no where to be so its nice to just look out the window at it as I craft! Comment: These are very nice. Thank you for the extras, unfortunately when I received this, the envelope was cut open on one and the top was cut open in a couple of places. Hopefully I got everything. I now put scotch tape along the ends of my envelopes so hopefully they don’t get cut open.

I am cross-stitching a piece with poppies as the focal point, and I'm loving it (however, I have a "rotation" and it's still waiting for me to pick it up again!). It’s so cool to get a September ATC that’s a different time of the year, You’re going into spring and for us fall is coming, not so much here in San Diego, over 100 degrees today… I’m so ready for fall. I do hope your eye is feeling better from surgery and I am jealous of you all having just now start spring. I LOVE spring time, all the new flowers, everything is so fresh.
