To me, tofurkeys are ok but not quite the same as the real turkey. I prefer real turkey myself. I had sweet potatoes this year. Cut up and not in a casserole. I don't like the casseroles that much either. I also do not like to shop on Black Friday. After working it for about 3 or 4 years, in retail...no way.

Comment: I agree, too much sugar ruins sweet potato casserole. I put a few mini marshmallows on top, just for aesthetics. I've never had cranberry sauce on dressing before, that sounds delicious! It sounds like you make a lot of yummy foods for your family. Happy Thanksgiving :)

Response: The Hobbit is one novel I would like to reread. I had to read it right before starting high school and hated it but I think I would appreciate it a lot more now! I love all of the movies and I am a huge epic fantasy fan!

Comment: I've read Frankenstein, too many times, and I hate that book! It's just so awful! I read it in junior high, thinking I'd like the horror, and then twice in college courses only because they made me. So, so bad! Anyway, Thanks for all the links and for using colored text. It really made your email easy to read. I read the Martian too! So good, right? I recommend the audiobook too, the reader is great.

Comment: Sorry to rate a 3 but this swap was marked sent on the due date, yet not sent until the following day. Both the postmark and printed USPS postage label have Sept 15th dates on them. The journal itself is nice, thanks. I just wish you had told me you needed more time.
Response: I apologize again. I didn't realize it did not go out on time. It is my fault, I passed it off to my husband and wasn't informed that it didn't get mailed out that day. I would have let you know but it is my fault for not checking with him. From this I have learned to make sure I have all my swap sent out early so this doesn't happen again. I am glad you still liked it!

I know I'm in the minority with hating it, but it's just a personal thing I guess. Hope you enjoyed the swap.

It has been windy here, not so warm as the last summer was.
