Response: Thank you so much for letting me know. I will be more careful. I am so glad you liked the cards.
Response: It is really good! I think you could do without the spinach. Maybe stick in something else green to make it pretty. I hope your family likes it!
Response: I am so happy it arrived! Thank you for the rating and your patience.
Response: Me too! I found them at Hobby Lobby.
Response: I wish I could visit and teach you. My ex-husband's family lived in Orlando, so I have many happy memories of visits there. Thanks so much for the rating!
Response: I'm glad you liked them. I learned to tat when I was a little girl from my Aunt Pauline!
Response: I am so glad you like the things I sent. I wish I could claim credit for the envelope, but I received it in a swap. I too thought it was beautiful!
Response: Thank you for such a kind rating and comment. I think the smaller feathers are from doves, and boy, do we have a lot here! I am not sure what the larger feather is. My granddaughter picks them up on her walk from school, and I try to figure out crafts to do with them. She was quite proud that I was sending them to you!
Response: I liked the postcard too. Thank you for the book suggestion. I will get my daughter to order it for me!
Response: Personal swapping sounds great, but I don't know how to do it. Let me know! Thanks for the rating.
Response: I'm so happy you liked everything I sent. It's fun to gather things that might fit your needs. You know, I have thought about selling my tatting stuff. I just haven't figured out how to do it, so I share with my friends!
Response: I think he is incredible. I also recommend his book called Numbers.
Response: I am so glad you liked what I sent. I use the cards for "to and from" on gift packages.
Response: I have had so much fun making these envelopes. I got a calendar at Christmas which I did not need, but there were such pretty pictures I just couldn't throw it away. It sat next to my desk, and one day I needed an envelope, had none the right size and inspiration hit!
Response: I have sent this swap two times...on June 18 and, after getting the package back, again on September 18. I will message you to confirm the address and resend again.
Response: I did attach a recipe. I didn't think that it might not survive the trip. I will get a copy in the mail to you.
Response: We like it because you can fix it the night before...and open a few presents while it is cooking!
Response: I really love tatting! It is very soothing and gives me something to do to keep my hands busy. A snowflake takes about 45 minutes, but rewards me more than that! Thanks for your kind comments.
Response: I am glad you like what I sent. I wish I could affer a tutorial,,,but I have only been able to teach in person. There are books out, but everyone I have talked to has trouble following them. Maybe you could find someone where you live that would help.
Response: You are so kind! I have had a tough day, and your note made me feel so great. Thank you.
Response: My "old maid" Aunt Pauline taught me to tat. She did it all the time, and I loved watching her. Most of my dresses when I was little had tatted lace on them. I am now teaching my 10-year-old granddaughter to tat. She is quite proud of herself!
Response: When I put swaps together, I love thinking that the recipient will enjoy them. I am so pleased that you liked what I sent. I hope we will be swap friends in the future.
Response: As I said in my message to you yesterday, I had not sent this swap to you because your address was not listed. When I checked, you were partially suspended. I was checking on old swaps that I had not closed out, and discovered that your address was back. I will be sending the swap within the next week.
Response: I have to confess....it wasn't my first Dotee! But it was the first of the 30 Christmas Dotees I am making for gifts this year. I am having fun creating little personalities and sharing with my relatives and friends. I am so glad you liked the Dotee and the cards. It gives me pleasure to make others happy.
Response: I sent extras for you. I like to put a bit extra in my swaps. I am so glad you liked them.
Response: Happy Birthday! I am so glad the box made it before your birthday. It is hard to wait. I got my swap and just sit and wonder what is in those packages. Have the best birthday ever.
Response: I am so gald you liked my Dotee. And I am most pleased that your son likes her. Children's praise is the best there is!
Response: You have made my day! Thank you for all your kind words and encouragement.
Response: I am so happy you are reusing my notecard. I love "recycling" things. Thank you for the heart.
Response: The magazine has been in my things for ages. I finally decided that I would share it with others. I am so glad you like it -- and my ATCs. I always think other people are so much more creative than I am. It's nice to hear encouraging words.
Response: I think my inablilty to think of ways I sabotage myself was some sort of sabotage! I am just very good at it! I don't think it is a positive thing, but something I need to work on. I am busy trying to be more aware of how I sabotage myself. Another way of growing.
Response: I am so glad you liked the jokers. I was very excited when my friend gave me the decks of cards -- I have been hoarding them. I was hoping you didn't have any like them. You are so welcome.
Response: I am so pleased that you liked what I sent. I was apprehensive about the ATCs, so I am glad you felt they were special. I am downsizing pictures, so chose ones that I liked but had similar ones. Tatting is easy for some people. I am not sure I could learn from a book, although there are instructions out there. You might find someone who tats and is willing to get you started.
Response: I am so glad you like it! I think it is fun to look at alder craft books. They remind you of how life has changed, even in just 30 or so years. I also got it because it had several crafts that you are interested in.
Response: What a nice thing to do! I hope you won't be disappointed.
Response: I really appreciate you being so patient -- and your wonderful comments! I really enjoy putting together packages and thinking about the recipients and how they might feel opening them. I am so glad you were pleased!
Response: Thank you! I appreciate your patience and understanding -- and your kind comments.
Response: I think tatting is easier than crochet. I too have problems with the shaping in crochet. I am not sure I could learn to tat from a book. Maybe you can find someone who could teach you. I am so glad you liked your package!
Response: How interesting! I wish we were neighbors and could tat together. I bet you would remember if you were with someone else doing it.
Response: You have made my day! Thank you for such a glowing comment. The "Joy" mini was one of my favorites too. I cut the base out of a catalog. Making mini and ATCs has made me read catalogs and magazines differently!
Response: I have a very red face. I just found your feedback. I am so sorry for the earlier e-mail! Thank you so much for such nice comments.
Response: Please don't be embarrassed. I am just glad that you got my word, which I dearly love! Keeping swaps organized is a real challenge. I have mine on note cards -- probably not the most efficient system -- and sometimes I feel like I am shuffling a deck! Thank you for the rating!
Response: Thank you for your comments. This was my first time making ATC's, and I was very nervous. Do you have any suggestions to improve them?
