Comment: Thank you for your lovely blue birds I received last week. Today is another cold day, temp in the morning around 0F (-17C). Before my daughter went outside for Hubby to drive her to day care, dressed all in pink she likes. I gave her the blue bird, and she smiled and looked forward playing with it. I really love vintage postcards and any Christian Ephemera like offering envelopes and prayer cards etc.. -- My tuxedo cat is the best cat that I've ever had. He does have a VERY quirky personality! Sometimes I think that he thinks he's a dog! --- thank you for asking about my son. Very few people mention it. He did pass away in 1982 when he was 9 years old of leukemia. He had enormous faith though and wasn't afraid. I also lost a husband a few years later, also of cancer, but I have since remarried. Blessings, Maggie

Comment: Love the Colors of the Bird in the kit..Yep I can Sew.... my Bird I sent out yesterday was a Lark and it was in Blue heavy paper with flowered paper accents on Teal colored wings with 2 kinds of lace for accents on head, with twine legs with Beads... also included a package of Bugle beads my swap partner could Glue on the tail and wings.. I particularly like the airplanes, the Chinese royalty and the Swedish dragon! :) Just a gentle reminder for next time to cut the stamps carefully and to leave enough space around the edges that the stamp stays intact. It looks like a couple of them got whacked off (and it may not even be your fault if someone else cut them). Those ones are no good for collecting, but they'll still be nice on collages and ATCs. I appreciate all the extra stamps, too! Thank you!

Comment: Thanks for the tag. I can tell you spent some time on it. Some of the embellishments came off during shipping but i can easily re-glue them before adding yours to my tag collection. Probably all the cold wet weather is not friendly to glues at this time of year.

I especially like the little bell you added on .. i keep my dotees on a wire ornament tree ( post easter Hallmark..think it was for hanging eggs) I have nearly filled 3 such trees ( each holds about 20) and your sweetie is the only one with a bell! Its perfect because tonight after I put her on the tree the breeze blew and she made little jingles... just like a garden wind chime! Thank you !

Comment: Thanks for the ATCs! Ooh the one you made is really interesting! It has so much depth to it! I was trying to figure out what you did to make it... did you cut up the picture of the flowers and then stick the pieces back together with raised foam dots to give it dimension? I'm guessing that's how it was done but it was a very intricate job and the best example I have seen of that sort of technique. :)

Comment: Hey, Julie, your beautiful bookmarks were received in Tucson, Arizona today. Lilacs! I lived for 30 years on Mt. Desert Island and had a huge lilac bush (it was more like a tree) in my yard. When the lilacs finally arrived, around Memorial Day, it meant spring had finally arrived! Not so, here. Thanks so much. (I went to college in Gorham....love southern Maine!)

The photos seem quaint to me now, but I think I may have seen this book years ago . . . or at least similar projects in magazine way back in the day. I would have still been in highschool then. I've never talked to someone who was a Jehovah's Witness before, I'm always curious about what other 'religions' believe...I think because I was raised in a generation that believes everyone is 'right' in their own way. The more I understand God's word and His ways, the more I realize how distorted other 'religions' are...and I think it helps to know what other people practice to see how they can be led to God too...if that makes sense. :) Take Care, Jenna

I love the fabric and you definitely get a heart because as soon as I brought the package into our bedroom and set it on the bed my cat just jumped right up and started attacking the packaging and had it half open in no time! He definitely knew it was for him. <3 Thanks for the second one too--there are other cats in the house to appreciate it as well.
