Summer was alright here. Way too hot for my taste. So, I'm looking forward to fall weather and it's not getting here fast enough. This whole of Sept. it's been so hot here in Canton, PA. Can't wait to say goodbye to the heat, ha! Do you have a favorite season?
Response: I’m super happy that I picked a lighthouse that’s new to you 🤩 I went there in 2018, and the lady at the info area gift shop was amazing! She was the post master and had the hand cancel stamp that has Peggy’s cove light house as the cancel image and she let me cancel my postcards (I send postcards to myself while I travel) and she mentioned that since they are a port of entry, that she was able to use the cancel in my passport too!!! So I have that beautiful light house cancel in my passport too 💕💕💕 and there is a Photo Booth/photographer there that takes a photo of you/your group with the lighthouse in the back ground and prints the photo as a postcard right there! Was ammmmmazing 🤩
I don’t really have a favourite season specifically. There is something that I enjoy about every official season…I’d happily skip the gross parts of time that it takes to go between each season though!

It was an interesting summer, thankfully ‘most’ of the fires near us, didn’t threaten structures or populated areas before they got under control. The rain sure helps keep the smoke at bay and the fires away. We were fortunate up here, I think, in comparison to the Kamloops and more southern okanogan areas.

Response: It's cooling off here now, winter probably isnt too far off, but the pretty part of fall is coming to an end, faster than I'd like!! I'm not a fan of the transition to winter once all the pretty leaves have fallen...sometimes it just drags out for too long.
