Unfortunately we were slightly affected by the hurricane but it could’ve been so much worse. A few minor outdoor repairs and cleanup along with no power for 4 days. Biking around Galveston must be beautiful, I visited there many years ago. I love that you guys take National Park Trips...two questions...which was your favorite park and how many parks have you been to? Best, Rick
Response: Hi Rick-I had to pull out our Nat’l Park book & count the stars next to the parks we’ve been to to answer your question. We’ve been to 32 of the parks. By far my favorite was Arches. Although we went years ago when it wasn’t as popular as now. I hear now it’s over crowded & you may have to wait in line to get in!! I think a 2nd favorite was a hidden gem called Capitol Reef. Although I was dealing with a torn achilles so I didn’t get to hike much. But that red rock and scenery gets me every time!! This Sept we’re going the other direction. We usually go west but we’re gonna try east. I hope we’re not disappointed. We’re going to Shenandoah in VA. We think the Fall will be nice there after a hot TX summer & Fall!! Thanks for asking!!

I just mailed #355110 to you yesterday. These get very confusing with these big numbers!! If it doesn’t matter that it doesn’t get rated it’s not a problem. I just didn’t wanna get a bad rating if you never received it. It had yellow tissue paper mod podged in the bottom triangle with black stamped flowers.

Response: Hi Christine- Thank you for your kind words & heart rating! I used to be the messiest & worst stamper!! I mentioned some of the brand stamps to you that I think stamp the best but also my sister turned me onto Versafine ink pads. They are not cheap. I started out with just a black and brown one. And added to my collection slowly for other colors. This ink dries fast and doesn’t smear. I just had to order one on Amazon to replace a color and noticed it was called Versafine Clair. I hope it is just as good. I have had my others forever. They last a long time and have refill ink if you should need it. I don’t like using stamps with the wooden handles because I can’t really see what I’m stamping. I bought a gadget by Tim Holtz called Travel Stamp Platform. It sat in my closet forever. I finally watched a YouTube video of his on how to use it and now I’m in LOVE!! It makes stamping so easy!! And the stamps come out great. I’ve even pulled some of mine off the wood to use with this. I wanted to send you a link but I’m so tech challenged I couldn’t figure it out!! He has a large stamp platform but the travel size is plenty big enough unless you have huge stamps.
