Comment: AWESOME card of the Sands. I haven't been to Singapore in 15 years, my friends from there moved to Brunei for 6-8 months per year so it's harder to visit. Last time I went we stayed in a nice place across from the Raffles. We dressed up and went over the Raffles bar one night and hob-nobbed with the well-heeled. It was a fun evening, I think I'd like to find my way up to the rooftop on the Sands some evening and enjoy a fantasy evening again. Cheers

America rang a bell with me--a gal I used to work with was Native American by birth and adopted. Her adoptive Mother she always said was Welsh, but from So. America which I never understood. I wish I knew which village my Welsh ancestors came from-my maiden name was Davis (before that it was Davies) which is the most common Welsh name unfortunately.The country side there is so pretty! thanks again, Carol
