Response: How wonderful you liked this swap. Well, I didn't 'find' a box with minizines. made a box and all zines (received) go in to this box. Then I can just take this box and look at them whenever I want to. This box is small and the all stand up in it. Totally agree with you, wish more people would like these swaps as much as I do! Comment: I love your full-color zine! Also the stickers, word searches, and other paper miscellany—it was a great envelope to open. So happy for you that you get to spend half the year in Mexico. I lived in Mexico City for all those years, but if I moved back in retirement I´d opt for somewhere less hectic.

Comment: Thank you for the creative zine ! I love how colourful every page is. I think "zeen" is how to pronunce them but I've been known to say "zyn" quite a few times ! I think that comes from the difference in pronunciation of magazine in English and French !

Comment: Hello Barbara...I had several pieces of mail that were miss sorted by the postal service. Your envelope was one of them. They had actually placed -9- pieces of my mail in another box and that box tenant was out of the country only returning recently! I was so mad because one of those envelopes was a replacement credit card on one of my accounts that had expired. I had to have the bank send me a replacement and that was a hassle!!! Anyway...this is the reason my rating is late. Speaking of your card...it is beautiful! I love it and thank you for all the extra goodies that you enclosed!!! I love those to. I read your profile...small world...I have relatives that live up north...San Jose, Menlo Park, Atherton, Palo Alto, Corte Madera, Elk Grove. They are all over up there...lol. And then...I have a relative that just retired...well about -3- years ago and they moved to Glenbrook, NV. Their home breathtaking. I did not want to leave. They bought and renovated...to their liking...an already nice house/cabin/what ever you want to call it. It looks down over the lake. Again...simply breath taking!

Comment: This is just so stinkin' adorable! I love your use of eyelets, which I have never mastered. Each time I try, I have to dig out the misplaced/misshapen eyelet and try to cover the wound with a hole protector! Thank you for making such a cute little mini album for me!

I make a window on paper with packaging plastics. (If that made sense lol) or put them in glassine bags and tuck them in pockets. Thank you so very much! Now I want a press! Lol

About stamp conventions, I like the pic. and I have been to many conventions. They are so much fun. I just got an email that says the summer convention in FL is on! I will not be able to attend this year because my Dr. won't let me go anywhere around people. I will miss it but I can't think of anything else that I need! I just got an order from Simon Says Stamp. Because you have first print on fabric, than you have nead very much paint for the fabric. I think that if you use the half less paint, you have better results. Succes with it. Comment: I had so much fun with just the outside of the package! I love all the stamps and cut them out carefully for my collection. The "Rising Stamp Prices" sticker made me laugh! I even saved a large section of the inside of the wrapping paper to put into my daughter's wedding journal I am working on. I opened the box and saw some of the wonderful things inside, but then I realized I was supposed to wait until December to open it. So, I grabbed the postcards out (also using for daughter's wedding) and closed it back up quickly! I am really looking forward to getting into it!! Thank you SO MUCH! <3 :D It still feels like winter over here!

Comment: I loved the Washis you sent me! All of them are very interesting and fun. I also really enjoyed the thoughtful extras you included. I got the package a few days ago but lost the note inside so I couldn't rate til I just now found it. And as far as your questions go- I have a TON of tapes! Well a full bowl of them. I always find them on sale at the craft stores. I use them to decorate notebooks- covers- because I keep a number of journals and writing logs. I also use them for envies of course and for my planner to highlight/ accentuate dates. I also recently started making little bookmarks with them and use them to mark my toddlers growth on the wall!

I agree its getting harder to find nice ones I've given up on finding local postcards, which is a shame because I think a nice postcard of the Saltville town sign would be interesting to have on hand. I mostly order from online and that can be hit or miss but I do love adding to my collection. The ones you sent were great my favorite was the clown casino and the red one with the men in black tie dress. I hope you enjoy the ones you get as much as I did. PS. The stamps you used were great!!

Comment: The package and the extras showed you put thought into making it extra special. The fabrics are pretty, but be sure to send 100 percent cotton fabrics. One was certainly not, so I will not be able to use it in my quilting projects. I had that same yellow rose fabric in the mid 70's when my kids were little and I used it in craft projects. Back then I made little mouse outfits. it's still a classy fabric, but to tell the difference between fabric that is poly or cotton, take a match and burn the end of the fabric. If it curls and feels crisp, it is not cotton. Cotton will be soft and burn to an ash.

What I meant was that I don't swap too much during the winter because we go to Mexico from Oct. to March and it is difficult for me to receive mail but sending is ok. I do a few PC swaps....I usually spend time every day making ATC's some I make generic but I try to do alot of them profile based..makes them more fun and personal....To me the time consumming part is the actual addressing and writing notes finding the right extras to add...I try to keep notes in a book where I write all my addys down for swaps and after a while I know some of the people we have swapped several times...I did say I LOVE Swap-Bot..cute xtras--thanks so much♥♥♥♥♥♥

My husband goes back and forth but we have a farm and I have to tend to everything while he is gone...besides, once he crosses the border, he turns into a macho...s o b!
