Hmmm, it would be nice if hubby's told their wifes not to clean (and do it themselves or help a lot more)!

Since I also like to use junk mail in art and since I also just finished volunteering for a candidate who ran for supervisor in SF (he won), I really appreciated this APC. Thank you very much! It was unbelievable how much political junk mail hit our mail boxes in the weeks before the Nov 2 elections. No "save a tree" in this campaign!

Response: No secret... it's not actually painted, it's from a deck of hot pink cards with white numbers that I found at a thrift shop. :) I've used them a few times in these swaps. I think you have at least one other card of mine from the pink deck. Thanks for the great rating and heart! :)

Comment: I'm not quite sure how to begin this one, except to say that never ever before in my swap-bot experience have I felt ANY levels of Christmas morning-esque joy upon receiving a package on my doorstep. THAT IS, until a large round shortbread tin wrapped in a map atlas arrived at my door with something like "don't worry- it's not broken!" written on the mailing label (SO funny)- Heidi, the 'treasure chest' is amazing and thoughtful (and currently still sitting opened on my floor, where I rummage through the miscellany as the mood strikes). So excited to swap with you again soon. xx

It's funny that you mention sending the towels and pot holder because I really did need a new pot holder so that was just what I needed.. and ohemgee.. that matchbox robot... is amazing!! It's my first time getting one and it was so great. I put it up on a shelf with all of my vinyl toys. =D .. (iow: thanks!! ♥)

Comment: This is the best package I have ever received from a swap! If the rating system would let me give you more hearts I would. I loved everything you sent! The bookmark is an awesome upcycling idea, the soap is totally yummy, I can't wait to use it. The little purse is great and the matchbox is cute (I have never done one of those, I might have to try it). The CD has great songs on it. I will listen to it in the car today when I go to some thrift shops. Thank you so much for everything, and for it being in tune to my profile. You Rock! The CD was kind of a random idea, I actually envisioned the cover before I had the idea for what songs to put on it.
